The Streamlight PolyStinger DS LED with AC Charger is a dependable, tough flashlight. With three different lighting modes and strobe, you'll be able to choose the exact amount of light you need for a given situation. A deep-dish parabolic reflector creates ultra-bright, evenly-distributed light at all angles, even peripherals. The handle is made of non-conductive nylon polymer for maximum durability and uses a rubberized non-slip grip to stay comfortably in your hand. The unbreakable polycarbonate lens is treated with a scratch-resistant coating to avoid compromising the beam. This compact flashlight is able to fit existing Stinger snap-in chargers and mounts in any position for your convenience.

I bought this because I was called late one evening by the sheriff's department and told there were cattle out on the road. When I arrived the deputy was using his car spotlight and I said I would get a flashlight to count the cows and calves in the pasture. He offered me his and wow it was awesome. I called the next day to inquire what I had used and he told me it was this flashlight so I bought one. Great purchase so far.

I purchased this flashlight a few weeks ago, and from the moment I took it out of the box, I've been incredibly impressed and happy with it. This is by far the brightest flashlight I've ever used, especially considering its size. It's comfortable to hold, a very nice weight, and feels very well built. The switches feel nice. I love the light spread, with a very bright focused center, as well as a bright spread. The strobe light feature is neat, though as a consumer just using this as a daily flashlight, I don't imagine any legitimate use for it. I like that there are different brightness settings, though it defaults to the full power every time you turn it on, and it takes a 1-2 second hold of the button to change to dimmer settings. Not long, but long enough that it's mildly inconvenient. I love that this flashlight is rechargeable, which was one of the decision points for me, and it's a nice quality charger. The charger can be wall-mounted (and includes screws to do so) which is a very handy feature. The only complaint I have is that the flashlight is larger than I was anticipating when I purchased it. It's still a great size, but can be a bit bulky for the pocket (it's larger than a standard mini-mag, which is about what I was expecting.) Also, I wish the head had some flat sides to keep it from rolling when on a flat surface.

This is, without a doubt, the best flashlight for police work, self-defense, or just working around the house. The super-bright LED is VERY well focused, and the three power levels lets you adjust the amount of light you want to throw. A strobe mode works well in building searches, or other tactical situations.

The light has switches in two locations (near the head on the body, and on the tailcap.) The switches allow momentary on/off or constant on/off. They work very naturally.

Run time on a battery charge is GREAT! More than a constant 1.5 hours on the high mode before you can discern any power loss. Much longer on the lower levels.

Did I mention that you can use the original Stinger battery chargers with this light?

This is one of the best flashlights on the market. For this low price you are getting an amazing product. I am not so happy with the amount of time it took for my flashlight to come in, but once it came it was worth waiting for. This flashlight is by far the brightest, long ranged, and firm flashlight on the market.

This one has very bright LED light, comparing the size And the tail switch is handy. But the looks are not great, looks like a cheap plastic.
Also the charger is a poor piece of plastic.
Hope they could have taken a little more care on looks.

I was very happy with my previous Polystinger but this LED version is absolutely great! The light is very bright and strong! Quite pricy but definitely worth the money!
