I'm 5'7" with VERY average to skinny sized legs. I ordered the small/regular. Material has a great durable feel to it. The leg room is great, allowing for unhindered leg movement. While hard to do at first, i love that everything is buttoned. Much easier to repair than zipper. Leg and back pockets are roomy, front pockets are a not too much but bearable. Length is accurate, but only con is the waist size. I ordered a waist that is for size 29-32, but label on the pants reads for size 27-31, so the waist is tight for me. So if ordering, cater for the waist to be slightly smaller than advertised. But overall great product.

Good quality construction and good color. But the sizing is off. I wear 34/34 pants and order med/long BDU's. The size chart for this product indicated med fits 32-34 waist and long is 34 inseam. Perfect. So I ordered and received a med/long BDU. The tag sewn in the pants reads 31.5-35.5 waist and 35.5 inseam. These things are huge on me. I bought them for work so I'll still use them, but I like to look a little more squared away. If 34's are a little tight for you, give these a try, especially on sale.

Being in my fifties, it's been a long time and a size change from my old bdu's. And while I wore them out years ago, in the meantime I have been going through every kind of supposedly rugged pants at the rate of a year per pair.
I pulled these out, tried them on and they fit just as expected. Wait, you read that correctly, they fit! All the other pants are like the wild west when it comes to size and fit.
But, the reinforcements at knees are what I am very happy to have again. You know, working in the yard, around the shop, typically got pretty uncomfortable with the various types of pants I've endured. These have extra room where you want it(no more high pitched singing) and therefore don't bind regardless of the task. Nor do they fall off my behind a la plumber crack! Wore them all day and didn't mind one bit: comfortable.
Happy to have a non camouflage choice for color.

Only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the fly is one button less than my old bdu's, and is just a tad awkward for nature call.

Good quality and a price that won't break the bank.

These pants are just like the ones that I was issued in the military with the same great quality material. They are durable and lightweight. I would recommend buyers to order a size down if they want a fitted look. I normally wear a 32/32 in jeans and decided to order a small/ short (30/30) and these pants fit just right. I will definitely be buying other pairs and the price is just right.

Pictures are hard to judge on the internet. Buying when you can't try is even more difficult. But I took a chance and I was not disappointed. Quality was exactly what I had hoped I was buying. For any big guys, pay attention to the sizing chart, and measure yourself exactly where you wear them as this will ensure you get the best fit. These run true to the size. The only complaint I could even come up with is that they were long in the leg, but that is what boots are for, or you could just tie the ties in the legs around your ankle. When these wear out, which is always the true judge of a pair of pants, I will be back to buy another.

The quality of the material seems to be what I would expect from any BDU pants. Having worn for many years the Tru-Spec 24-7 Tactical Brand of work pants I have grown accustomed to the knife/flashlight pocket on both sides of your hips. I wish they would add this to the BDU line of clothing.
I love the button up fly as well as the button side pockets which is vital when making any type of noise a critical failure.
That is why I do not like the Tru-Spec 24-7 tactical pants due to the loud noise of the Velcro (Hook & Loop) side pockets. It also makes it difficult for one handed operation. I find myself having to use two hands just to open the velcro pockets.
What I do love about the 24-7 Tactical is the knife/flashlight pockets and love the adjustable waist band. Maybe they could take this line of pants and change over to buttons just like the BDU.
I have not had the Tru-Spec Poly/Cotton Ripstop BDU Pants long enough to give a more honest review and wish they would ask me to review the product after having owned it for a year or more instead of a week or two. Then I could report on the fading of the material or thinning and ripping due to washing etc.

Iv'e been wearing Military Surplus since my time in the Army in 1970. True Spec is a leader and produces many articles of clothing for the armed services the same quality you get here. I have several different styles and colors, solids and camo, some with different pocket options but they are all basically the same pants. I prefer the four button fly over the zip. I would suggest the zipper if your cutting or welding otherwise you don't have to worry with jamming or stuck zippers with button flys. I like having the nylon draw string legs to keep the pants leg snug which prevents insects from going up your legs. It's also keeps the pants leg up off the boot and from dragging the ground and wearing out. The adjustable draw strings on each side of the waist band also help keep your pants from sagging with the weight of a side arm or tools. I have some that are 3-4 years old and have been washed and dried at minimum over 100 times and they still hold up. Other than a rip or tear on sharp objects such as barb wire these pants are indestructable. More confortable than my Wrangler or levi's jeans and alot more versability.

Very happy with purchasing the cotton ripstop pants! Very durable tough material have purchased pants in past. Especially liking the camouflage digital designs! Great comfortable pants for work at job on my feet all day moving nonstop and for special occasional assignments outside of work etc with multiple pockets to carry items securely. Beats sweatpants which tend to rip/tear also recently purchased different colors of True Spec basic BDU cotton pants like blue & brown & khaki colors! Overall very happy customer! Thank You! Yeehaw!

These are well-made pants. I’ve come to consider them my basic wardrobe pants. I have several colors, both solids and print camouflage. I like them much better than denims, (Jeanes) because they fit better, have more leg room for maneuvering, less binding in the crotch and I think they look better. Personally, I cut the boot ties off since I have no intention of ever blousing them over a boot. They don’t fade like jeans do, and if you get them right out of the dryer after it stops, they’re pretty wrinkle free.

I am 5' 8" and have a 31" waist and the Tru Spec did not work. I was even told by a TG representative that I fall in between sizes for the Tru Spec pants. The quality seemed to be good on these pants however I had to go with the Propper BDU poly / cotton twill to get a correct fit.
