With a sleek design and expert construction, the TG Outsider SZ is a high quality combat boot designed for all-terrain, all-weather use. The upper is made from a blend of full-grain leather and 1000-denier ballistic nylon for optimal durability and resilience in the field. The rubber outsole is rugged enough to handle any terrain and maintains traction even in wet, slippery or icy conditions. The EVA midsole provides critical cushioning for extended periods of wear and supports the foot when running or climbing, while the removable EVA insole delivers added comfort. There is sponge rubber heel wedge within the insole that acts to ease the foot into landings, and keeps wearers comfortable throughout the day. Lightweight, functional and dependable on every mission, this boot does not disappoint. We guarantee it.

These boots are extremely comfortable. I'm very glad I bought them for my new duty boots. My only issues are:
1. The side zip needs to be a tad bit lower. I can slip my feet in and out without undoing the laces, but it can be difficult to at times. If the zip was just slightly lower, the issue would be fixed.
2. The boots feel a little wider than normal, which is okay, just unexpected.
3. I like to lace my boots a specific way, but the eye holes for the laces are a little too small for me to run them the way I like.

The good:
1. Extremely comfortable. I'm on my feet for most of the day, and these beat any other shoes I've ever worn for comfort.
2. They seem to have decent traction, I haven't had any issues with that yet.
3. They're decently water resistant too! During a bad downpour, everyone around me was complaining about wet socks and feet, but when I took these boots off I was amazed that the only dampness I could feel was from the sweat of my feet.

Overall, I love these boots and would definitely buy a new pair if they fixed the issues I mentioned above. I do recommend them for anyone who need a comfortable, solid, duty boot though.

This is not my first rodeo. When you spend $59 on a tactical boot, you should know there's a chance it will be a POS boot.

This boot is light, well made, and a great value.

First, the bad. The zippers are of great quality, but don't move down the boot far enough to use for entering the boot; so you have to lace and unlace. The support could be better. The laces are strong, but too thin for my liking.

Now the good. The fit is excellent. Not too wide, not too narrow. The materials are all excellent, and the craftsmanship is great. It feels like it will last forever. In a 5 mile hike/run no hot spots, no failures. And for $59 bucks!

I will buy a second pair... if they fix the f$&@#%* zippers!

This is my 2nd pair of tac boots. I work in construction and on our local EMA team, I live in boots everyday. I got about a year out of my Bates and decided, for the price point that your site was offering these for I thought I’d try them, and my report-So far, so good. The boot is a little wider than I’d like, I have to wrench them up a few times during the day. The break in was quick, only took a couple of days. I really like the tounge, it’s heavily padded like a hockey skate, I can jump on the laces and tighten them up with no discomfort. They’re light and seem pretty durable. I’ve yet to use them in wet weather.

The first pair of boots that was sent to me had something wrong with the back of the boot that kept pressing into my foot and making a bruise. I chatted with customer service to have the boots sent back and then purchase another set of boots. Customer service arranged it so I got my new pair of boots before sending back the ones that had the problem.
I've had these boots now for about a month and a half. It took about 3 weeks for the boots to break in before it was comfortable enough to wear all day.
The one bad part about these boots is that the side zipper serves no purpose. I still have to undo to the laces and the zipper in order to get the boot off.
I would purchase another pair of these boots if needed. The price and quality of the boot cannot be beat.

I bought these boot for the price at first sight they seemed nice and well made, but after wearing them for the past several day's I noticed they were very rigid and stiff also on the inside of the boot the leather on the heel portion constantly rubs my heel to the point of being raw almost. I would not buy these boots again

I am normally an Oakley boots fan as Ive deployed many times with their boots, but new ones no longer have Vibram soles. So I decided to try these.

Extremely tight at first and pretty quickly break in. I wear 9.5 tennis shoes and these boots at 9.5 fit good. Ive worn them about 12-15 hours total over 2-3 days. They’re comfortable with my low-arches and over-pronation running/walking foot fall. Usually I need inserts but not with these boots. I would buy them again and recommend.

The boots wear good and appear to be made well. They are very light weight. I normally wear the Original Swat boot fro TG. They are heavy with thicker more insulated uppers, very good in winter a little warm in summer. I will say if you buy fo the zipper side, don't. They don't zip down far enough, you have to unlace. Zipper is 2 inches over the inner sole, Swat boot is 1 inch which allows opening without unlacing. Other than that hickup, good boot.

Pretty comfortable, though I haven't tested them hard yet. The throat of the boot is too tight for my instep to use the side zip for laces tied entry. I have to loosen the laces down almost to the toe to get them on or off. The fit well and seem true to my 10 1/2 wide size. No arch support which is the rule of Asian made footwear. I'll need support insoles to really make them right. Shame that Americans cannot make proper footwear anymore while the Chinese just keep raising prices for inferior stuff. Good thing these were on sale.

I bought these due to the price point and the high reviews they had received on the website. When I received them I instantly noticed they feel very flat with little support or insole. I purchased a set of gel insoles for them which felt better but ultimately stopped wearing them after only 10 days.

These boots are rugged, lightweight and comfortable!!! I stepped into a puddle that came up over the top of my boots and they kept my socks completely dry. They stayed comfortable all day and I was on my feet the entire day. They are extremely well made, with a sturdy design. The zipper is well designed and stays up, and allows you to quickly put them on or remove them. I love them!!!
