Salomon's Forces Urban Jungle Ultra is the pinnacle of utility boots, designed for professionals like police, swat teams, and others who require reliable, heavy-duty protection for their active and demanding work. These black, polishable boots are constructed from premium materials, providing unparalleled durability and performance in any environment. From urban jungles to rugged terrain, the Forces Urban Jungle Ultra offers superior comfort, grip, and protection to ensure you can handle whatever life throws your way.

Durable Construction

The Men's Salomon Forces Urban Jungle Ultra Boots are built with high-quality materials, making them incredibly durable and long-lasting. The combination of suede leather and Cordura nylon uppers with a protective rubber toe cap and heel guard provide protection against abrasions, scuffs, and wear and tear. The sturdy construction of these boots makes them a reliable option for any demanding task or environment.

Comfortable Fit

These boots feature a cushioned midsole that provides ample support and comfort during prolonged wear. The breathable mesh lining also helps to regulate temperature and moisture, keeping your feet dry and comfortable all day. The lace-up closure system allows for a secure and customized fit that won't slip or slide during movement.

Non-Slip Soles

The Contagrip outsoles of these boots provide excellent traction on a variety of surfaces, including wet and slippery terrain. This makes them perfect for urban and outdoor environments where grip and stability are crucial. The lug pattern on the outsole also helps to channel water and debris away from the sole, ensuring a firm grip even in adverse conditions.

Lightweight Design

Despite their durable construction, these boots are surprisingly lightweight, weighing in at just over 1 pound per boot. This makes them easy to wear and move around in, without sacrificing the protection and support you need from a tactical boot. The lightweight design also reduces fatigue and increases mobility, allowing you to move quickly and comfortably during high-intensity activities.

I had high hopes for this boot, and I tried for 3 days to love this boot, because it came so highly recommended. But instead after 3 days I had extremely sore and blistered feet. The inside and outside of my ankle bone got large blisters from where the material was again my skin. And the left boot seemed very very stiff, the toe crease never broke in and every step it would fold and pinch the tops of my toes. I’m not sure if I just got a bad pair, but they were absolutely un wearable.

I purchased this boot after my old pair bit the dust. I've always wondered what Solomon had to offer on quality and after 8 months of hard use and during disaster relief / rescue operations for Hurricane Irma and Maria I can say I'm extremely impressed. The sizing is true to the average boot, but may be slightly narrow for some. They breathe astonishingly well due to the mesh in hot weather (sub tropical especially), and are very rugged. The heel cups my foot and holds it in place very firmly once on. My only problem is that they are a little slow to lace, and I'd really like if they used a speed-lace system. I highly recommend the "put them on and stand in a hot water tub" method of quick break in if they are slightly tight when you get them, they do break in normally fairly fast with normal use, but I've found it works if you need them ready quick. These may be my go-to boots for years to come...if I ever have to actually replace them... but with what I've seen it seems unlikely I'll need to.

The brand Salomon is well known for quality and these boots are of good quality. However, they are not for me. they hurt my toes. the stitch in the front of the boot is stiff. I could not wear them. I send them back for a return. Perhaps the boots need a breaking period, but I am not willing to breaking them when there is too much pain. Perhaps somebody else is OK with the boot, not me.

My Salomon shoes (Crossamphibian Swift 2) feel so light and great, I was hoping these boots would be similar. That’s not the case, the leather is very stiff and I can feel all the sewn seems when I put the boots on. I wore them for two days before needing to switch back to my old boots to save my feet. They still need a while to break in.

These boots are pretty damned good. Nice and comfy, nice and non-slippy, look the part.
They took about three shifts to break in but once they do, they're great. I have a wider foot than the standard width, but they stretched quite nicely.
I do have about a two inch section on the right boot where the upper is separating from the sole, but it doesn't seem to be getting any worse. The left boot isn't suffering from this at all, so I'm guessing it's an isolated incident.

My son graduated the academy and the boots they provide are heavy not so comfortable. Asked me for these as a gift. Fit was perfect, and comfort for being on his feet all day is great. He loves them. Will be buying another pair so he can switch them out, and will be buying them from here since the shipping speed, and service is A+. Thank you for a great product and getting them to me in time for his graduation.

So far, so good...the MOST comfortable boot I have ever worn. LEO since 1994 to current and have T & E many boots. The heel support technology is excellent. I also have a pair of low-top and a pair of hiking boots; and highly recommend Salomon products overall. The ONLY con is the height which would be better with one less set of top eyelets. But, there will be more stability.

I really like theese boots. Feel lighter and faster than most patrol boots. Solomon makes great hikers so i went with these over similars, nike, under armour which do not hold up well. These fit well and seem to be built well. So far I am very happy with my purchase. Vendor shipped them very fast. Price was fair.

I wear Salomon all the time off duty so I was happy to see that they finally are offering a duty boot with a polishable toe since my department requires them. Great boot, very little break in time, very comfortable and supportive.

This is a HUGE step down from the 4D GTX Forces boot. I hope Salomon gives us an 8 inch or taller version of the aforementioned boot, this was a disappointment in quality and comfort. So sorry to leave this review. Good thing this site makes returns easy!
