Be ready to tackle any environment with the Reebok 6" Rapid Response RB SZ WP. This combat boot features a removable F2 dual-density polyurethane cushioned insert, which has a heel stabilizer and Shock Eliminator heel cushion to protect your feet from impact and provide complete stability. This waterproof boot is built with a smooth leather and Cordura upper and a Mountain Trail rubber bottom for maximum grip and traction. The most advanced feature of this boot is the Tailex lining, which captures moisture, then allows it to evaporate quickly once the boot is removed. This prevents the buildup of moisture in the boot, eliminating blisters and odor-causing bacteria. This lining also creates small air pockets to help maintain a pleasant climate within the boot and provide breathing room for more comfort during tactical operations.

Chose the Reebok thinking it was almost guaranteed to be comfortable and a good fit. Wrong on both. Medium width = wide. The leather front is wide, high and rock hard. The tongue is oversized and does not add any comfort. The side zipper does not open wide enough to allow slip on or off without also loosening the laces. The shoe does not breathe or flex at all. After 2 weeks I still cannot wear this boot for a full 12 hour shift. Do not recommend.

THE BOOT IS NOT BUILT AS THE CONVERSE WAS IT HAS THE OUTSIDE SHAPE CHANGED, THE HEAL CUP INISDE HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A PIECE OF CLOTH THAT IS SHOWING WEAR AFTER 5 HOURS OF WEAR. THE LEFT BOOT RUBBED MY LEG SO BAD COULD NOT CONTINUE TO WEAR FOR A 10 HR SHIFT AND HAD TO CHANGE OUT TO OLD BOOTS.
AM TRYING TO FIND SOME CONVERSE BEFORE THEY ARE SOLD OUT.

This is the second pair I buy. First one was tan for the range. You're going to have to burn the kiwi into the toe to get a good shine but you only have to do it once.

I'm a big guy and the 1st pair lasted me several years where normally I go through work boots once a year. Will buy them again as long as they are available.
