The NIKE SFB Jungle 8" Leather is the ultimate, contemporary athletic boot for service members and first responders. The 8” collar is made of canvas and leather, stitched precisely to provide the ultimate combination of breathability and abrasion-resistance. A simplified, easy on-and-off lacing system complete with grommet hooks makes slipping on the boots a cinch. A drop-in midsole—think technology from NIKE’s first-class athletic shoes—provides lightweight cushion that won’t pinch. Drainage ports along the inner side of the shoe double as vents in tropical climates, providing even more versatility. A layer of Kevlar in the midsole protects the wearer—and the boot—from punctures and rugged terrain. Two types of rubber on the outsole—.44 sticky rubber at the forefront and toe tip, and .68 hard rubber at the rear—in four tread patterns insure you won’t lose traction when the terrain ahead is wet or steep, or anything in between.

Bought these to replace my heavy, clunky basic training issue boots. Size selection was the same as any other Nike product I've purchased. One surprise was the extra width in the toe pocket. I have wide feet and have come accustomed to purchasing shoes in 2E width but the normal width of the size 12 boot was a perfect fit for my foot. Excellent arch support as I have higher than average arches. No noticeable fatigue after being on the hanger floor all day. I find myself wearing them on the weekends because they're comfortable and look great with a pair of jeans. Will definitely be purchasing another pair when this one becomes worn.

It’s like the original SFB boot in terms of weight and comfort. Break in period was about a week. I’m glad they have the metal loops for the upper boot. As much as I like the heavy duty boot the leather loops broke on me.

I bought these boots a few months ago and was impressed right away. They are slightly beefier than the previous SFB, which was a must. These boots have withstood a fair amount of abuse in the quick 3 months I've worn them. From day to day running around to rucking 12 miles with a 45lb pack these boots are still holding up well.

Overall a great product, I bought them as a substitute for my Army OCP uniform boots and they are wayyyyyy more comfortable than the boots I got in basic

I really liked these boots, they looked nice and felt great. But they did not last more then 5 months at NTC.
