These boots look great and are very natural to walk/run in. I bought these for the Panama sole. I think they'll last a very long time. I wear a size 12 but bought a size 11.5 based on reviews on the web saying to buy a full size down. I think I could have gotten away with an 11. I would have given these a 5 but the Cordura (textile) surfaces on the side are a little more olive drab than pictured. However, they're still "sage" enough to pass as Air Force boots. Also, the Cordura surfaces tend to buckle and make a flapping noise when in stride. I think the noise will go away once these are fully broken in (I've only had them for roughly two weeks. Overall: good product, would buy again/recommend to a friend.

I work Hardscape construction for a living.
And we are very tough on our boots .
We have tried all brands at all prices !
until my buddy who is ex military gave me a pair of these boots to try out .......
Didn't think they looked like much at first but then they prove themselves very quickly! I have had the same pair for almost 2 seasons !!!
All other boots I've tried crap out in less than six months !
These boots are awesome !

These are my work boots. I'm on the railroad walking in ballast, sand, rocks, brush....and I do it in the low desert. 118* highs, 90% humidity type desert....miserable!!

I need boots like these, a hat, sunblock and a large camelback just to walk a few cars back in my train. I used to buy Altama's..until they went out of buisiness. These are just as well made and more comfortable!

Best price on the interwebs from tacticalgear.com.

I was a little nervous at first buying these boots, granted I had read all the reviews and pretty much all are positive, but the thing that worries me was that some of the reviews from a year or so ago were saying that they run big. I had went ahead and went one size bigger, just after purchasing I notice that a lot of the recent reviews hadn’t mentioned anything about getting a bigger size so I was a bit worried they would end up too big, when I got them they fit perfectly. They are extremely comfortable and would definitely recommend these boots!

Man, super fast shipping! Boot's are very comfortable and I wear them almost every day. At first I thought they might be a little big, but after they're broke in, they fit just right. For you Nam Vet's these are a hell of alot more comfortable then what we were issued. From a Marine to all my Nam Bros

Plain and simple, these are the best boots around. They are durable, light, and fit perfectly to your feet after a quick break in period. Buy some quality insoles for added comfort and you have the perfect boot. I have worn these for years and they hold up much better than the modern tennis shoe type of boots seen today. You will not regret buying these boots.

Boots arrived quickly, quicker than expected actually since it was shipped direct from the manufacturer. I wanted a made in USA boot and looked around extensively. This one had great reviews so i went with it. Size is true, with a good fit. They seem to be rugged and comfortable, just need to break them in a bit. Would buy again.

Great product at a reasonable price. I've been wearing McRae's Panama ever since my first pair was issued to me at Ft. Leonard Wood 5 years ago. In those five years I've only gone through two pairs and those were both standard issue. I received these in the mail, just a few days after ordering (standard shipping) and, while initially apprehensive about buying new boots online, was relieved when these fit perfectly and are of the same (if not better) quality than the boots I've been wearing for years.

I have worn these boots through all seasons and all kinds of conditions and they have held up better than any boot I have ever had! They have survived almost 2 years of just about everything including being worn through the harsh winter conditions of snow and salt as well as summer heat and rain. I have done lots and lots of walking, hunting, and used them as my work boot for my maintenance job. I substituted the laces that came with them with 550 para cord and they have never worn out. They are very comfortable and breathable in the summer heat! I highly recommend these boots!

Was looking for a USA made Boot. Ive ownd Jungle boots for over 15years. Altima, and Wellco no longer make them in GREEN But these McRae's are just as good. They dont have the marlin Spike protcetion but great boot. However the thread life is not that long if really worn alot.I wear mine daily. However boot can be resoled up using a harder Vibram sole that makes it last foreverSo no need to throw them away as I have done in the past with good boots with worn out soles. Plus its Made in the USA. It does matter.
