This has been an excellent light weight boot. I'm on my second pair. The zipper on the side makes it easy and quick to get the boot on and off. It really only took one day to break in this new pair.
The adjustable comfort insole is a plus, as you can adjust it to your own comfort and feet.
I've owned the first pair for four years and though its not totally worn out, I wanted to get another pair. The only issue I've had with the old pair of boots it that it started to come apart at the seems on the sides near the balls of my feet. It was an easy fix for the boot repair man.
Overall this is a very light weight, comfortable boot.

These boots are GREAT!! I wore the first pair for 18 months. Before I wore them out. When I first got them it was like pulling on a pair of sneakers no break in on them. I had to break down and get more and this time I bought 2 pair just to hav esomething to rotate. The last one I wore every day and put long miles on them. Can't ask for better.

Love the boots. Great with the zipper+lace. Good fit, true to sizing. They really protect your feet well. I found this out for myself on a stormy day last week. My 1,100 Quarter Horse mount uncharacteristically spooked, jumped sideways into me and landed on my left foot with a large head nailed shoe. I felt it but the boot took the brunt of the hit and most likely saved me a lot of pain. Highly recommend them!

The sides have protruding leather were the stitching is with absolutely no lining to offset the rubbing into ones flesh especially on the sides. I looked at economy boots at K-Mart just to see how they are made and there is a soft lining throughout the whole interior of the boot. I already have an RMA. In the future I will most definitely stay away fron Bates.

Fantastic boot. Extremely comfortable, I was able to wear them 19 hours on my first day. So far they have been durable and have done well in wet and cold weather. I wont hesitate to buy another pair.

I am a firefighter and have worn this exact model for several years. I wear them on and off duty. They last about 18 mths for me, but I put them through the works.

Great boots, luv them, light weight and durable . I bought a pair 2 1/2 years ago and the only reason I need a new pair is the normal wear on the insole, that's it. I am buying another pair of the same, best boots I ever wore! Good construction!

I've had 2 pairs of these for over 3 years and the outside's can't be beat. I have had to replace the insoles and the zipper tabs finally broke this year after hundreds of pulls. No problems with water.

These are a very good pair of boots. I usually wear a size 15 but these boots run a little big and I actually ended up ordering a size 14. They are comfortable no warm.
