Engineered to store and organize multiple magazines and tactical accessories, the Blackhawk Commando Chest Harness attaches to the chest via padded adjustable cross-shoulder straps and features a tough 1000-denier nylon material for long-lasting durability. The four ammo pouches can fit two to three 7. 62 mm magazines and deliver quick access to ammunition in rapid-fire tactical operations or at the range. The utility pouches on each end are ideally suited for radios, sight-adjustment tools, compasses or any other small accessories. There is a large utility pouch on the back for added storage as well as internal dividers, which prevent magazine clatter. Belt loops secure the vest to a tactical belt and an adjustable waist strap features quick-release buckles for convenient removal.

This chest rig is very well made. The olive drab is a much darker green than what appears in the picture, and I like it. There are 2 things that I don't like, however. The lower back strap does me no good because it will not shorten enough to be tight. If I'm wearing a bulky coat it's not so bad, but wearing just a shirt, its useless. Also, a web belt can be attached to the lower portion of the rig. This helps give support, but if you wear the belt as seen in the picture you have to take the whole thing off like a pair of pants, because the rig comes off toward the front while the belt comes off toward the back. I have to wear the belt backwards, with the buckle in the back. I suppose if you wanted to seperate the belt from the rig every time you take it off that would be ok, but who wants to do that?
Other than these thngs the rig is very good at what its designed to do.

I have two 30rd ak pmags. I tried them in every pouch, the Velcro barely touches. It popped open when I ran with the mags loaded in every pouch, one pouch at a time. I bought metal 30rd ak mags, they are a little bit thinner and shorter. With two metal mags, the Velcro still isn't far down enough IMO. It makes maybe one inch of contact with the female Velcro piece on the front of the pouch. The metal mags make a little noise while I walk. If the Velcro went down further I could put a divider, maybe cardboard or something or I could just have the 8 gen 3 pmags in there like I planned. Besides that, it's well made and seems pretty sturdy and durable.

This chest harness is the best I have seen. It is tough, plenty of room and comfortable to use. The two side pockets can carry a lot . A great harness, but, I expect nothing less from Blackhawk. The only improvement I would like to see, is a zipper in the middle to make to faster to put on and take off .

IT'S BLACKHAWK, NUFF' SAID. EACH OF THE FOUR COMPARTMENTS EASILY HOLD 2 AR-10 (7.62MM ) MAGS ALL IT'S MISSING IS A VELRO NAME TAPE ON THE POUCH FLAP. BUCKLES ARE ADEQUATE BUT DON'T RELY ON FOR EMERGENCY LIFT/EXTRACTION...USE D-RING ON BELT.

The rig is well made, I'm a very scrawny guy and this even fits me great. The only downside is that the mag pouches say they have a divider but it just has a small strap that i can't even fit a mag through. I don't know if its just mine or if its like this on all of them. Hands down if i needed another one i would definitely buy this again.

Good quality and works great with my m14. I have two round mags and they fit nicely. Now just have to wait for the zombies to show up : /
