5.11 has designed an ultra-convenient, versatile and rugged CCW option for everyday use. From the street to covert operations, the Select Carry Pistol Pouch provides a way to conceal and carry without sacrificing comfort. It looks and fits like a fanny pack, but internally it can store magazines and a standard-size pistol. Bulky carriers can get in the way and do not appear as subtle. This pistol pouch eliminates this issue with a thin main compartment while the sturdy straps keep it secure. When you need rapid access to your weapon, a pull-strap unzips the main firearm compartment, allowing for a fast and efficient draw.

Frankly, I did not set out to discover this item, let alone purchase it. I just happened upon this "holster," and the price was something that I could not ignore. Apparently, it was a clearance item due to the red color. So, I sorta bought it on a whim. When it promptly arrived, it proved to be even more comfortable and concealing that I ever imagined. Understand that I am not one to ever even think of wearing a fanny pack; however, this supposedly is designed to be worn with the pack forward. That's the way I would use it AND it rides high enough not to display below a jacket or loose-fitting garment (shirt or t-shirt). I easily conceals either of my S&W 9mm, plus conceals the extra clip. Sure, all the rapid removal of the firearm works as advertised, but that's simply an added plus. Would I recommend it? Damn right.

I purchased this waist bag to more securely hold a Ruger LCR that I only carry when I run. The LCR fits perfect and I'm guessing so will a Glock 26/27 and likely any other subcompact handgun. Note that using an additional holster for more trigger protection likely won't be something that could be done with most guns, the fight is too tight. Just make sure that there is nothing in the holster except the gun and you should be OK. You can wear the holster closer to the hip with a smaller frame gun, but any subcompact or larger frame gun and the bag will have to be worn directly to the front or back.

...better things come in bigger packages.
BLUF: Get something a little bigger.
Pro: 1. The most comfortable way to carry.
2. It is discreet.
Con: 1. It just isn't big enough. (You can use the straps to secure a pistol or you can secure your extra magazine. You cannot do both.) 2. The side pockets are too small for a magazine, knife or flashlight. (I cannot even fit my keys in there. I can fit a speedloader in each but the only revolver that I can fit in the main compartment is a J-frame.)
3. The main compartment needs to have quicker access. Velcro would be better than the zipper.

The bag is very well made and my Springfield XDM9 fits in it with an extra mag. The two pockets on the sides are very small but will fit an ID or Very small knife. I use the bag when I jog and have found it to be very comfortable and it does not bounce or flop around. The zippers are quality and do not come open while jogging. Overall I am very pleased with this bag. It is on the small side so not much more than your firearm will fit in it.

I bought this for my Glock 19, and it fits great. It is well made from the buckle to the zippers. It lays flat and doesnt buldge like other packs I own and if you need to really load it up you can carry 3 spare mags comfortably. The color combo blends in well with backpack/camping gear. Price was great and service was too!

I have a S & W model 20 snubbie and the pouch works just fine with respect to concealment. The elastic loops that hold the tag ends of the waistband were kinda OK but loosened over time and the belt became a bit slack during activity. I replaced the loops with two 2 inch tri glides and that cured the problem. And I was able to get the elastic loops off and the tri glides on without having to do any alterations to the end stitching. Improved for less than a dollar and in less than 15 minutes. It does not get any better than that.

Fits Sig Sauer P250 Subcompact (12 rounds) and additional 15 rounds magazine perfectly with some room for wallet and keys. Really like this product. Tried it with Sig Sauer P250 Compact (15 rounds) and it would not fit because the grip is too long.

I am looking forward to carrying my Glock 19, which fits comfortably well. Side pockets can accommodate a license and Chapstick. Also, there is a compartment on the belt to hold a small flashlight or extra magazine.

Completely practical fanny pack with a non-tactical look. Can handle any medium-size pistol or revolver and most larger ones with a snug fit. Side pouches for ID, keys, etc. are small but usable for that purpose.

Picture does not show the durable construction of this item. Wide belt with large snap buckle looks like it should last a life time. Design allows pistol to be oriented in either direction for left or right draw.
