The XH35 includes two mode selector switches. One for toggling between 1,000 blinding lumens of light to gain a superior advantage in the dark and 300 potent lumens when less light is needed, but there is still the need to engage a threat in low-light conditions. The second switch toggles between continuous light operation and a disorienting strobe mode. Activating the XH35 is achieved via one-finger, ambidextrous switching located at the rear of body.For use with the MASTERFIRE holster, the XH35 is a clear choice. I've had this light for a couple weeks. This light is rock solid! I really like this light and the X300 ultra! This XH-35 would be excellent indoors to see more peripheral view with the light beam. It would be excellent for CQB. The light beam has more like uniform distribution, and the X300 has a hot spot in the middle and quite a bit more candela. It is easier to get holsters for the X300 because it's more common, and the XH-35 is not as common so harder to find a holster. They currently don't have molds to form kydex holsters, that I'm aware of. The B mount on the XH-35 light locks on solid to the rail. This site had a real good price and quick shipping! Great light- I plan on using this for all my handguns. I really love the high/low/strobe beam options! Surefire makes the best lights...even if you have to shell out the bucks$$$$$ !!!
