NIKE's SFB Socks are designed to provide long-lasting comfort and support in any climate and on any mission. The unique wool and synthetic blend promotes superior breathability within the shoes or boots to regulate heat and keep feet dry. There is targeted support placed at strategic points along the heel and forefoot to protect injury-prone areas. The overall anatomical cushioning provides impact protection and shock absorption without adding weight to the socks. The flat toe seam and ultra-soft fabric make for a comfortable, athletic fit, while the compression fit delivers maximum support when engaging in physical activity. For a pair of socks that keeps you warm, dry and protected, NIKE has you covered.

Seriously a game changer for rucking for anyone with blister-prone feet. I normally get very bad blisters on my heels and toes. These socks got me through a 12-miler with only slight heat spots towards the very end (while worn with the Belleville ONE XERO 320 Ultra Light Assault boots). Stayed remarkably dry throughout the ruck and the compression helped prevent any cramping or arch pain. I've also worn them during extended field exercises and they stay "fresh" much longer than regular socks and air dry very quickly. They can easily be rinsed out and reworn and keep their tightness after being wrung out, unlike regular cotton socks. Highly recommended!

About six months ago I began a search for the perfect sock to wear while on duty. I purchased 2 pairs of fox river, 5.11, under armour, and these Nike socks. After putting each sock through its paces on 48 hour shifts as a firefighter, I found that the Nike socks far exceed the others mentioned. The Nike SFB socks are light weight and not too thick but have the right amount of cousioning needed for doing strenuous activity. I also found that these socks didn't cause my feet to sweat perfusely like the others. Needless to say I just ordered 5 more pair from tactical gear. Shipped fast and I got them in the mail today. Great customer interaction. Plan on buying again when needed.

I was skeptical when my nephew recommended a specialty sock for hiking. He was right on target when he said, "The proper sock is as important as the proper boot".
These socks are a BIG improvement over anything I have worn prior.
Yes, they are worth the mony.

Not the sexiest bit of gear to review, but my socks were fantastic while in Afghanistan. They held up fairly well and padded my feet from the hard clay soil found way out west. I would highly recommend them to anybody who has to walk long distances while carrying a bunch of crap.
