I have owned a pair of these for 5 years now. They fit perfectly and are ready to walk/hike in with little-to-no break-in required. I have worn them in all conditions from blazing sun, high humidity, rain, snow, a night out with my lady, etc and they have always performed excellent! I now work as a Park Ranger and have kept these as my duty boots because of how awesome they are. I had two issues with these boots however: (1) the factory rubber sole is made of a soft material and wears out quite quickly, but once I reached that point, I had them resoled with Vibram soles in a matching color and they have given me an additional 3 years. I am about to resole them again and expect them to last another 2-4 years. (2) The insole is good at first, but will wear out with regular use. So consider changing to a Dr. Scholl's insole or similar to get longer life. Other than that, regular maintenance with leather saddle soap and conditioning oil has kept them looking great! I would highly recommend these boots.

I bought the Dark Brown Nuebuck boots for casual wear seeing as it is hard for me to get good looking shoes in my size and in the right color. I have had them for some time now and I absolutely love them. I've received many compliments on them. A note on the color: the picture is darker than the actual product color, but it's still a nice shade of brown. The design is also classy and rugged, yet subtle---out of all the people I've met with these on, only one could tell they were boots. The only thing that sucks is that this color might be discontinued (which sucks because this always happens to things I like) seeing as how my size is now unavailable (I always double check in case I need a spare pair); I might be willing to give the Red Brown Burnished a go, but that will be later down the line if at all.

As for the customer service from Tactical Gear: I will never understand how these people do it---it's just simply outstanding. When I needed help getting the right size, the associate was willing to go through many lengths just to make sure I got the perfect fit, and indeed I did; my feet and I are most thankful.

Excellent boots. I have a tall instep and wide feet and have a hard time finding boots or shoes that fit properly. I order that's in 12 wide and the fit perfectly. They have room to breath and adjust snug if needed. Thanks folks

They were a very nice boot. I wish that they fit. I wear size 13 and ordered that size but they were very big and loose unless laced very tightly. They looked long and bar rand there was still movement which I was afraid would cause callases and blisters. I returned the boots and ordered a different brand although I may order a smaller size in the future.

These are the nicest boots I have ever owned they weigh basically nothing and feel great. They are also stylish if your not hiking in them. The stitching and leather is sturdy. Awesome buy. Make sure you get the right size though. I got a ruler and measured my foot before buying

Normal dress shoe size is 10 but had to go down full size to 9. Other than $15 to return the first pair, I'm quite happy. Boots are comfortable and look great and are breaking in quickly. Haven't had them long enought to comment on how well they wear.

These boots look and feel great. Not a hard-core work boot or hiker, just a solid all around boot that suits any occasion.
