Sure-footed stealth, comfort, and performance are the qualities these advanced tactical boots deliver. This best-selling tactical boot has been re-engineered to incorporate high-tech materials and construction techniques, ensuring a tactical edge out in the field. Non-metallic construction helps minimize the chance of hardware scratching work surfaces and will not activate security screening devices. The boot is ideal for travel on any type of terrain, and combines three different technologies to ensure exceptional performance at all times. The cross-environment Z-Trac tread design ensures confidence with every step, while the built-in flex design provides long-term comfort. Upgraded Z-Trac multi-surface traction outsole features a specially formulated dual-density rubber sole compound that was created exclusively to deliver maximum traction and stability in the most challenging conditions.

First of all, I ordered these boots on a Wednesday and they got to me in two days. I'm always happy about fast shipping, so that was great. I put them on Friday as soon as the came and they fit perfectly out of the box, absolutely zero break-in time required. I had a pair of waterproof boots from First Tactical that I had paid around $90 for in 2017, and they started leaking so I was shopping around for replacements. First Tactical hiked the price on my boots since then to $130 and I really didn't want to pay that much for just a waterproof boot, I wanted a safety toe too. I found these on other sites and they were crazy expensive but they had a laundry list of specs that I decided these were the boots I wanted. I figured since they're covered under a warranty I could send them back if they weren't as good so I got them here for WAY less than the cost of my ol' reliable.
And I must say. They are INSANELY better, more comfortable, functioning, AND they saved me from a pretty dramatic injury.
I slipped on some black ice yesterday (Sunday after I got them) and my ankle popped. I thought for sure I had broke it.
Drove to the hospital, they did x-rays, found out its just a really bad sprain.
Anyway, the entire ER staff told me that if I hadn't been wearing such good boots I'd be looking at possibly multiple fractures and surgery instead of just hobbling around in a splint for the next few weeks.

So. That's my review. Don't hesitate, if you think you might like these boots, BUY THEM. Because they're the best.

Just got these yesterday. So, to that point, I entered the wrong city which auto-corrected the zip cide. This caused the order to be undeliverable. I emailed customer service and was almost instantly replied to by Holly. She resent the order right then! The next day I noticed that we had the city right, but the zip was the same. Again, my bad. But this time Molly helped me, and corrected the shipping label with UPS. Great customer service! Fixed MY mistakes without hesitation!

So, I get these Boots and I tell ya, I got high expectations. Well, I open the box and start looking them over and I'm a bit taken back. I check the box and the order again. Sure enough, these are the boots I ordered. I'm checking cause the boots in the box are way better than I had expected! I've never worn Thorogood's before and I am impressed! Light and comfortable out if the box, sized as expected with all the bells and whistles. You cannot be unhappy choosing these boots or this company to buy them through. The price is great, quality is top notch and the customer service is above first rate!

I'm going to order a pair for my wife. They are that good!

These boots were comfortable right out of the box. The second day I had to replace the insole because the ones that came with the boot were too thick. This is my third pair in three months. I got the 8" 511's and one was smaller than the other, sent them back (no problem), I got a pair of 8" Reebok's but the composite toe had a piece of plastic floating around my left toe, sent them back (no problem) and now I'm happy with the Thorogood. A big thanks for their patience on so many returns.

I've only worn these boots for about 2 weeks now but they feel great. The traction is great and I haven't slipped on anything. I wear these as a delivery driver so I go through a lot of mud, water, grass, and slippery floors. The zipper is great and makes it easy to take the boots off and on without having to tie them. The only issue I had was the size. I usually wear a 9 but it was way too big, and had to send them back for a 7.5.

The boots arrived on time and without any defects. The only con I have about them is the stiffness of the boots. They definitely need to be broke in before wearing on a regular basis. I wear them at work as a maintenance technician at a plastics factory and routinely have to climb on and around the machinery as well as in oily conditions and I haven't had any issues with traction. The side zippers makes changing my boots at work a snap.

I will never be able to tell you how these boots feel because I'm paralyzed. I do know if something is applying pressure in an uncomfortable way to my foot I will respond with sweating on one side of my face. That hasn't happened since wearing these boots. I purchased these boots for the practical function that goes well with the tactical look I wear in clothing. The side zipper simplifies foot entry and exit such that the laces can remain tied. I will admit the zipper entry and exit option is slightly more snug than if the laces were loosened but it still works even with socks. These boots will probably last me a lifetime since wear and tear is a very gentle cycle on paralyzed feet. Because of the observed flap construction at the zipper flap I am confident I will have dry feet when the weather turns precipitous. The extra thick toe protection offers peace of mind toe protection when out in my all-terrain wheelchair. The tread on each soul keep my feet in good wheelchair position because each soul has a great stickiness for grip. In my case that means my feet won't slip off the foot plate which can cause for an unexpected pug nose stop. Good looking boots in my opinion.

So far so good. I only have 16 hours in them so far. Fit was on, appearance was spot on, ie: craftsmanship seems as though they were constructed with care. no doubt they will only get more comfortable with time. The ship time was way better than expected. The company seems legit and trustworthy. This is as important as the purchase itself in my opinion

I have a pair of Thorogood work boots that are the same size as what I have ordered. The Deuces are too big. A sizeing chart on your web site would be very useful. The size difference my be due to steel toe verses not.

I've only worn these a couple times now. I was worried about a tight fitting toe area when I first put them on but as soon as I stood up it seemed like my foot slide into a perfect little nook within the shoe. Very comfortable to wear. Looking forward to testing them fully in time.

Very comfortable boot. Had them less than a year and sole and heals still look brand new. Very happy with that part of boot, but, the uppers, regarding stitching/mesh areas was a disappointment. Both sides of the mesh on the rt boot came apart within 6-8 months after purchase. Within past month left boot started to tear at the mesh areas. Have to buy new boots since the stitching is all out in the mesh areas and do not give me the correct support in the upper part of the boot.
