Designed for functional comfort and underfoot support, the Thorogood 10" SoftStreets Wellington ST is a supremely durable boot, which features a full-grain leather and 1000-denier Cordura Shaft upper for maximum environmental and workplace protection. An ideal slip-on work boot, it is built with a direct-injection construction method and operates on a SoftStreets dual-density polyurethane outsole, which provides optimal traction on any surface. The removable dual-density polyurethane Shock Zone footbed reduces overall foot strike pressure and prevents accidental injuries when running or performing strenuous actions. There is an engineered composite shank between the outsole and midsole for superior torsional rigidity and heel security. This model also feature a safety steel toe and is electrical hazard rated.

For years I wore Iron Age steel toe boots in the engineer style. When they stopped making them, I switched to Red Wing in the same style. So far, these Thorogood are more comfortable than either of the previous straight out of the box. The true test will be if they are capable of lasting as long as the others did. If they are, I've found my new preferred choice in pull on boots.

I've worn this pair of boots all but a couple of days since I got them. They're loose and tight in all the right places, and have a good weight. Only problem is the interior seems started coming apart after only 7 months. Not great quality.
