1st off, don’t let the title “runner” mistake anyone into thinking that you will win your next all rugged terrain run while wearing these... not those kind of boots. These appear to made specifically for law enforcement to include Corrections and any military branch. If you have ever worn a pair of original jungle boots and then put on a pair of these ... running is an understatement. These boots are very light weight in comparison but just as durable and even more comfortable than its predecessor. They are definitely made for lots of walking, short running distances (1/2 mile was comfortable to me), quick burst movements, withstands almost all weather conditions above 30 degrees (toe freeze) and are good for just standing there and looking awesome since they look very professional and polish up very nice. The pair I have now have lasted over 1.5years and have done what I listed and then some so I am looking forward to the next pair I ordered. My knees and I think you for making a great pair of light weight, functional and durable boots. If you can make a pair of insoles that can do the same and last even half as long then I would buy them too.

This is a modern take on the classic jungle boot that was used by the military for decades, and is a great successor. Although it took some time for the leather to break in (3-4 days), the boots work great. They're all what a classic jungle boot should be and then some, especially the footbed. They're pretty comfy even after 8-12 hour shifts walking around with them. After about a year of use, a little polish and the the shoes look brand new. If you're looking for that classic jungle boot look but with some modern day conveniences, this is it.

These feel like the jungle boots I was issued in the service. The biggest difference is the removable insert. This is a huge increase in comfort! I do agree with a previous comment that the water drainage holes are too small and also too high up to be effective. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone wanting a good warm weather boot.

The boot looks sleek, awesome and light on-line. In person its huge, stiff, low flex upper, sole and overall bulky feeling. Does not make my foot feel good in the least. I got caught up by the word runner. I'm a runner and like a boot that inspires quick movements agility just in case.
