The Tactical Research Flyweight CT SZ provides lightweight comfort and long-lasting support. The compression molded EVA midsole combines with three layers of cushioning for maximum shock absorption and unmatched comfort. The composite toe meets ASTM F2412-11 and F2412-11 standards for impact and compression protection and uses a non-metallic design to be lighter than traditional steel toes without conducting heat or cold. Medial side air vents and a breathable, unlined upper will keep your feet cool in hotter months. The oil- and slip-resistant outsole is made with TR Adrenaline to give you maximum traction and stability on any terrain. Durable and comfortable, these boots stand up to rough work without sacrificing support.

I purchased the same boot as I have been wearing every day for the past four years. I forgot how much it hurts to break these boots in. My ankles are hurting now, two weeks into these new boots. My previous pair served me well. I ran two military marathons in them. The zipper held up strong which I cannot say the same for other pairs of different boots I had owned. After 4 years the liner and molding in the heel eventually wore out and it was time for a new boot. I just hope they break in sooner, for my ankle's sake.

The very first day I wore these, the right boot rubbed on my outside ankle bone so bad, that it rubbed through the skin. I've since had to pad it with gauze until it heals, though I still feel it rubbing and is somewhat painful. Hopefully it will go away as I break in the boots. The toe of the boot kind of angles up kind of high, which is a minor issue, if an issue at all. For now I gave it 3-stars because of the ease of putting on/taking off thanks to the side zipper.

Left outside ankle bone worn raw. Right side heel still feels terrible after a week of wearing these. I though they would break in but they just are not. The right zipper is very hard to get zipped. There is a place it keeps catching. They seem durable. They feel fine concerning the arches/bottoms of my feet with the cushioned insole I put in.
OVERALL: Second worst pair of boots I've ever worn (out of 10+ pair). Military issue steel toes will crush my arches in half a day, so they get #1 spot for crappy boots. But those didn't cost me anything... I am definitely going to try returning these.

This boot is a great boot for the price. Just got them a week ago and I am still breaking them in. Great color and very lightweight. We will see how they hold up. I’ve been hiking with them and wearing the with civilians. They look good and my wife likes them.

Great boots for the price. Very comfortable, and light weight. Would like a heavier duty metal zipper instead of the plastic one though. Received the incorrect size first, costumer service was friendly and quick about getting me the correct ones.

This is a good light boot with minimal break in time. My only complaint is the toe box to the heel can be a bit wider than most boots I bought and can cause a little bit of rubbing and hot spots when I first wore but that only lasted a few days.

These are great boots, well made, etc, but they rub me raw on my heel. You would think with as thick of socks as we have that they wouldnt rub me too raw, but damn if they dont do just that.

These are perfect for my work. It's hard to find a safety boot for hot weather. I did change out the inserts, but that was a personal choice. I plan on buying several more of these.

Boots did not come with the breathable holes as shown in picture and seemed to be made poorly. Never had an issue from buying boots from this website. Pretty disappointed.
