For the ultimate tactical boot in any weather, on any terrain and for any job, Tactical Research presents the Chrome CT SZ WP. These boots are made from ultra-durable cowhide leather with nylon mesh for rugged reliability and ventilation. The unique, non-marking rubber outsole is oil and slip-resistant and incorporates a lugged sole for traction and grip on uneven surfaces. It is designed to last year after year thanks to the high-performance StreetNav technology. A cushioned EVA midsole and a removable polyurethane insole provide comfort and arch support, as well as ankle support when performing strenuous actions. There is a waterproof inner membrane that wicks away sweat and keeps moisture out, and a blood-borne pathogen proof membrane for safety in hazardous conditions. The hybrid lacing system keeps your ankle and heel secure to prevent injury when running, while the side zipper makes these boots easily removable.

Typically I wear 11's or 12's. So when they said to order a size smaller, I was skeptical. Ordered 10's and they fit like a glove. Super tight, no wiggle, but even in 20's, 30's, 40's Farenheit weather, my feet don't over heat. They feel just right. Not cold, not hot. And the grip is great, living in Washington, stuff is constantly wet/slick and these stay where you put em. Never feel like I'm off balance in whatever I'm doing.

For the price, they can't be beat. A seriously solid boot.

ive had 6 pairs of TR boots... THIS pair is by far my favorite!

im on my feet 16-18hrs a day in all sorts of conditions that change during each shift. these boots are the prefect balance of everything. not too hot for summer wear, still WP for wet & winter usage.. composite toe instead of cold steel in winter & still NOT heavy.

this was my first pair of this particular set up: CT-SZ-WP & its turned out to be the best of all my TR purchases!

just ordered another pair & thought i'd drop this recommendation to anyone who is in heavy construction & does lots of steel & concrete standing & climbing.

I have been waiting on a pair like this since I purchased hot weather boots from tactical research a couple of years ago. You can not go wrong with these, comfortable / water proof / composite toe / zipper boots. The best of all uses. And they are not too hot for summer time, just get a great pair of socks to go with them.

I have always preferred this particular boot, and I really like the reinforced toe that is a new feature from my old. My only complaint is that they arrived slightly scuffed as though they had been worn. Nothing a little cream polish couldn't fix; but otherwise I'm satisfied.

I was worried about the sizing but after receiving and putting them on the sizing was just perfect fits like a glove as if they were made for my feet I think they were bad they are better than my red wing boots

On my 3rd pair about to order 4th of the Tr916zct, so light and quick to get them on. As a vol. fire fighter they slip on fast and easy. Started using Belleville boots while at FedEx 8 years ago. Didn’t even notice they were on. I use the Tr916zct boot.

used them for one week unto i happen to step in some water about 2inc and found out water got in.
The other boot looked to be ok. Now 2 weeks later i put them on in the bathtub and found out they both leak around the 2inc mark what looks to be where the leather ends . After breaking them in for a few days they feel great. But i didnt buy them for there feel....

I just bought my second par, the first lasted over a year. They're super comfortable & I wear them everyday, including to the gym. These boots do make my feet hot, but worth it for the comfort.
Only suggestion I have is that the waterproofing makes the boots run a half size small. I didn't know that the first time I got them, fyi.

I have had these boots for 3 months now, it only 2 days for them to break in, and they've been great! The boots are exactly what I was looking for; Lightweight, breathable, supportive and durable. Highly recommended!

Well I did like the boot overall, but I will be sending them back due to a faulty lace loop that was not put in right, popped out of the pocket it was put in
