Salomon...what else is there to say! I was thrilled to see Salomon provide footwear which are AR 670-1 compliant. I own a pair of Quest 4D Forces and absolutely love them. When I found these, I couldn't resist. The Guardian's run true to size (at least on my feet) and didn't take long to break-in. They are really comfortable and I expect them to be sturdy while in the field. I will continue to purchase Salomons.

(By the way, a shout out to to these guys for their ease of ordering and rapid shipping. Thanks!)

Sizing I'm a 9.5 in this boots, but in a chippewa I'm 9 EE, Nike shoe size 10. This boots are little roomier on the toe box area, lighter than othe boots I own, nice traction, comfortable, not disappointed at all

I’ve had these boots just under two weeks. The break in period has been much longer than expected. Best feature is the ankle support. The boot is fairly well constructed, though there’s a seam parting above the eyelets on both boots - they came in the box with this defect. Soloman’s wear better than my Nike’s in both garrison and the field, but I’m in no rush to run out and buy another pair. They run large. In my experience, 11.5 in Nike = 11 in these Salomons. Overall a solid selection. My problem is that I was expecting the moon, but I’m still walking on earth.

I love the boots, been hoping that Salomon would make a boot for the military for sometime now. I've only worn the boots for a week, but already I'm having an issue with the paint coming off of the eyelets. Other than that, they're great!

I got these yesterday and right out of he box they felt perfect. I normally wear 9.5 wide in Oakley’s and bought a size 10. No hot spots and no break in period . The midsole has good support and doesnt weigh a lot. These are the under dog boots that trump the nikes in comfort . I hope they make a water proof version in the works .

Coming from the Nike boots, these fit my feet much better. They have just the right amount of padding along the leather to give them a real comfy and cozy fit. However, they do tend to make my foot quite warm due the the lack of any ventilation.Im not looking forward to the Ft. Benning summer

Negligible amount of break-in time, but the lack of breathe/drain holes in the side leaves a bit to be desired.

I love the boots, and I love the heel support. I think they look great, but these boots ran a considerable size smaller than most of my other boots. Would suggest getting a size, or a half, larger than normal.
