I have worn many Combat Boots over the years. I've had my favorites just to have them discontinued, which is the catalyst that causes me to find another Boot. I, like most people, own a pair of Sneakers, and these Boots are lighter than them. The construction seems solid and I like the fitment. The donning and doffing via the side zipper takes a bit more effort than other side zip Boots but perhaps this is because they are new and i haven't found the correct lace tightness/zipper ratio. Also, this review might be premature since I haven't broken them in yet, so, I don't know how well the threading holds up to stresses or the interior fortifications. Don't really like the Brand Name stamp on the bottom of the Boot leaving identifiable Boot prints. I like the Tread pattern although it does seem as if it would wear down quickly. I like the style, these Boots look nice when worn and are considerably smaller when compared to the other Boots I own. For new Boots i would rate these with 5 stars. We'll just have to see how they hold up to the stresses after a few months of use.

These boots have 2 problems, the first one the thread of the tips is delicate it breaks, the second one is badly manufactured, because when walking it make friction and the vinyl of the sides takes off or starts to be drawn, they have to improve manufacturing of this new model,
in 20 days the vinyl begun to peel of, the boots fit me well but is a factory problem

My first impression was how light they are, I have been using the Swat 8 boots for work and they are comfortable. The only concern I have so far is, there are threads at the toe and have already come apart on both, time will tell if this effects the integrity of the boot.
