I bought these because I couldn't find Altama jungle boots ANYWHERE online, except in ridiculous sizes (like a 4 1/2 triple wide). Tried the $30 Rothco version and fell in love with the style. Unfortunately, those basically disintegrated beneath me in three weeks. These seem flawless, so far. Took a few days to break them in, which was a little painful. But, now they're very comfortable. I've been wearing them daily in a desert climate for a few weeks now. My boots matched the size chart well. The Cordura upper is a huge improvement from the old canvas. And these soles are made with quality material, unlike the cheapies that I swear dissolve in water. Before these, I wore Corcoran Marauder II's, a somewhat similar boot, for five years with no problems. Those cost almost $200, and I'd readily compare these to those. Great price and highly recommended.

When the former supplier of the "Official U. S. Issue" jungle boots ceased to exist, I was worried that I couldn't find a replacement for my well-worn boots. These seem to be what I was looking for. Right out of the box, these seem to look even better than my 15 and 25 year old ones did when I first got them. I put hundreds of miles on the old ones and they're still serviceable. I'll be back in say 10 years, to let you know how these hold up. If they don't live up to my needs, I'll be back sooner. I'm a hard-core hiker and adventurer and intend to break these in on an extended canoe trip. See ya later.

These boots are flexible and comfortable out of the box. Before ordering I contacted Customer Service to inquire about sizing and was told they run true to size. That seems to be correct in my case, although my heels slide a bit. I corrected that problem with additional inserts, and look forward to hiking in these boots.

Great looking jungle boot bought them in a 9.5 wide and they were close to a 11.5 even the insert was a inch short from the toe of the boot. By big toe was just at the edge of the cap of the boot.

Great looking boot looks like my old jungle boots I had in the Marines not sure if I'm going to go down and risk having to pay shipping again for to large of a size or go with another brand.

I like them, I ware them at winter when it is not wet out. They are more water resistant than tennis shoes and since I am driving most of the time, my feet breath and don't overheat.

Love the boots, love the price. Still breaking them in and they are breaking in my Achilles tendons. Rubbed raw but they are getting better

I have had multiple jungle boots that failed and these boots are a great fit. Built tough and cool on your feet.
