The Massif Flamestretch Beanie keeps your head warm when the temperature drops. Made from 4-way stretch fleece fabric, this beanie fully covers your head and ears for protection against cold weather and high-speed winds, and uses high-tech yarns to stay warm when wet. This lightweight beanie fits easily under helmets, and passes the ASTM D 6413 standard for flame resistance. The flame resistance comes from the DuPont Nomex brand fibers throughout the beanie, which provide durability and comfort in addition to protection. When the day is done, the beanie tightly compresses down to almost nothing for easy storage. Authorized by the United States Coast Guard, this beanie is great for working in cold climates.

As one reviewer here said, the small version is not going to fit most heads. I bought the L/XL and it fits perfect. If you aren't sure about what size then have someone measure you're skull. But if you just want to be on the safe side, get the XL. This beanie is great for workouts, or just out working on the job in cold weather. Sweat doesn't bother me with this on and the fabric is not suffocating my scalp. Never have I worn a beanie so long and never felt like taking it off due to discomfort. Very impressed by this company and this beanie. Definitely looking forward to more products from Massif

Does run on the smaller side, so the small/med I ordered was not quite big enough but will still be a good second. Ordered the large and am very happy. Thin, warm, doesn't bunch up under a helmet, easily stashed in a pocket without bulk.
