This desert boot is a lightweight, 8-inch design that is ready to tackle the barren terrain. Because the Lowa Zephyr uses premium GORE-TEX technology, it's waterproof but still breathable to keep feet from swimming in sweat. Need to carry heavy loads? No problem. This boot was engineered to offer exceptional support under heavy weight. The midsole features a Monowrap frame construction and a three-quarter length stabilizer to keep security top of mind. And with the comfortable polyurethane material underfoot, your feet still get key cushioning where they need it the most. Plus, the climate control footbed keeps feet feeling and smelling as fresh as possible.

I served in the US Army as a Ranger/LRSD-C/Sniper/JumpMstr/PathFinder/.....I have a pair from 2009 and feel in love with these boots. They are such great boots I decided to buy another pair now before Lowa stops making them! My first pair are like new still and I wore them almost constantly! They provide great support. Feel like walking on cushions and the quality is second to none! Even with the great impact resistance the boot really does provide great support, but still feel lite on your feet!
The craftsmanship and durability of these boots is awesome. Like I said I've owned since 09 and none of the rubber or fabric has showed any sign of lifting or detaching in the slightest. The boot has a natural arch groove that fast rope will automatically slide into. The gortex provides warmth and wetness protection but still breaths, while even now that I'm retired and living in Florida. Also, the Gortex adds to the ankle support. I can't say enough about these boots. I even wore them when I went to visit my Brother in Alaska and they kept my feet warm.
I have owned allot of boots with my time in the military and almost yearly having to buy new boots until I purchased these boots. By far these are the BEST MILITARY BOOTS ON THE MARKET! If you purchase these boots I promise you'll be happy.

These will by my 3rd pair of Lowa Zephyr GTX HI TF. I wear them every single day at work and they feel great. I have worn most of the common boots out there over the last 12 years in law enforcement and these are by far the most comfortable right out of the box. The first two weeks I had these boots were at SWAT Entry School. Needless to say, with ZERO break in time I threw these on and worked through school which included 2 miles of running in boots and pants per day and my feet felt great. The boots are light like running shoes, have a great heel cup and support, and are water proof up above the ankle. I tend to wear the outer edge of the heel down so I replace them every year, but they are totally worth it!

I am a bad weather gear guy. Love being out in the worst weather and enjoy being totally comfortable. Northern Wisconsin provides the weather. Gore Tex is a key factor, without it most boots fail medium to heavy water exposure. These boots were incredibly comfortable right from the start. Been 5 months, and so far so good - and I have put them to the test.

From wearing combat boots for the last 12 years this was by far the highest quality materials and best built boot I had ever put on. It is unfortunate that I did not get to buy them and had to return it from what I believe was just a little factory boo boo with the left boots in Seoul where the arch was dramatically taller than the right boot. And I've had that happen before trying on boots a couple times. However having forward 3 different types of boots at the same time I just Picked the best fit and chose from what I had. Wish a store near me had stocked them so I could have probably kept them. #life without goretex. 🤞

After serving two Awesome Army's (British and US) as an Infanteer, Lowa boots are never a fail, tough, rugged, long lasting (providing you take care of them), great ankle support, these are must for any ground pounder/Grunt. Been wearing Lowas since 2004 and will always go against ARs when it comes to taking care of my feet. Keep Low Move Fast, go get some!

I have problems fitting my foot which is a 13 C. Over the past 12 months I have tried numerous boot brands, including most of the popular brands. Some advise they run small so ordering a size up is necessary, meaning I ordered a 14 Medium. None fit properly. I kept reading about the Lowa Zephyr quality but some sites said to go up a size for proper fit. So I finally tried a 14 M but found it too large. Returned them and re-ordered size 13 M and was very pleasantly surprised.

This boot fit correctly. I did replace the OEM insole with the Superfeet Orange. They are lightweight, easy to get on and off and feel great on my feet. I will be using them on safari in the Cameroon rainforest in June. I will be taking two pair, in different colors, to wear on alternate days.

I highly recommend these boots and also the great customer service folks.

This is the second pair I get after trying the first pair for 6 months. I felt that "Great products" tend to get discontinued, so I went and got my second pair "just in case" I think the first pair will last for another 3 years at least. I wear them 4 - 6 times a week.
I like them more than my Keen boots. You can't put your money on better boots, because there aren't any that are better.

These boots are so awesome! ! !
I ordered my normal boot size, 11, and they fit, but fit a very little bit too tight. Sent them back and got an 11.5 and they're just perfect. My shoe size is usually clockwork so maybe I'd say this type of boot fits a little tight. Half size up from normal worked for me. The boot itself is awesome! Light weight and extremely comfortable. I'd describe them as an 'extra high top' sneaker fit and feel. They are not cumbersome light boots can be sometimes and the ankle support is great!...provides support while still being flexible and soft inside. I'll write another review when I find myself in wet conditions with them on....I bought the grtx version. They are very well made and engineered to the foot and lower leg. They feel amazing inside. Happy happy feet! .....= a happy man.
I chose the desert tan color. They look so sharp! I think these boots are worth their price. There are more expensive boots out there that do not even compare to these. I love 'em!
Thanks again for another great product! !
