The Insulated Pac rubber hunting boots are great for chilly conditions. A wool-felt midsole and foam insulated bottom keep warmth from escaping and cold from entering. The boots are made of a premium rubber compound that’s ozone resistant and offers 100% waterproof protection. A chevron-cleated outsole won’t track mud and dirt. A removable EVA footbed adds cushioning, and a three-eye lace top provides a snug fit for added warmth. Designed with LaCrosse Ankle-Fit design to reduce slippage for better walking comfort, the insulated Pac is still easy to pull on and off.

Boot is well made. I have a severely damaged ankle that has limited motion. Getting past the bend is a bit difficult. (I could use just a hair more circumference there)The taller boot is impossible. Once on, the boot is very comfortable and the flexibility is just what I need for the damaged ankle.
This is the kind of boot we had growing up in rural NYS.
Rubber is thicker and more rugged that anything I've seen. The tread is a serious gripper.
