You bring the heat every mission—but when the mission brings the heat right back, the Scorch is here to serve. It’s built first for breathability thanks to a lightweight upper patterned with mesh panels. The mesh panels are transparent and may reveal sock color or pattern. The Plylolite midsole and the speed lace system work together to make it light, agile and ready when you are—while the outsole is slip resistant and designed for stability. When the heat is on, the Scorch is extra breathable to keep you cool all the way down.

I gave these a try for the hot weather, but they are not comfy at all. They are lightweight, but even after putting gel insoles in, they still feel like walking on wood soles. I wear 11 in under armour, so I got 11 in these, but they run a tad big (about 1/2 size big) The boots are ok other than the hard sole and the vented sides make no difference in the heat factor. I'll be sticking with my under armour Stryker and Bates maneuver boots, but I will wear these intermittently. They do just ok on wet surfaces, like tile in the prison bathrooms. That's my opinion as a 7 year Sgt. C/O. Hope this helps.
