For 38 years I used Danner boots so I’m very familiar with Danners excellent quality.
This particular boot has a half inch cut on the top of toe in front of the first eyelet.
When I pay a lot for pair of boots I except to be close to perfect. To cut it short somebody at quality control ( from Danner to you or shipping from you to me ) did not do a good job.
I did not return the boot because the cut does not appear to be deep enough to effect the waterproofing of it ( I’ll know in February and March ) .
