Belleville 800 boots not only provide superior comfort and support, but are also U.S. Navy flight and flight deck certified. These American-made boots are built with a durable full-grain leather upper and the Vanguard sole construction system, which blends a strong-gripping rubber Vibram outsole with a comfortable, cushioned midsole and removable, polyurethane insole. The stable, waterproof leather upper protects your feet from the elements, while the polyurethane midsole provides support and encourages breathability. They are waterproof on the outside and feature a waterproof, GORE-TEX liner inside as well. The lacing system is simple and ensures a stable, secure fit. These are sturdy boots that can be used for work or travel and are flexible enough for everyday wear. Made in USA.

I was recommended these boots by the very helpful customer service here at militaryboots.com after having bought an inferior product in a Magnum Boot. Straight out of the box they are stiff and feel heavy in hand. Like the previous reviewer said it takes a few good wearings to break them in but once they are broken in they are an absolute dream. I'm on my feet 7+ hours a day working security and I also do some side work for a welding company. At either job they performed flawlessly. They are BY FAR the MOST COMFORTABLE PAIR OF BOOTS I HAVE EVER OWNED. I've had mine for a little over 6 months now. The waterproofing in the Gore-Tex is wonderful. I have submerged my foot up to my ankle and come out bone dry. They are solidly built, comfortable, and a really good bang for your buck. The recommendation of ordering a full size smaller is right on. I normally wear a 16 and ordered a 15...marvelous fit. Order yourself a pair. You cannot go wrong with these boots.

After spending 6 years in the Army, I came accustomed to wearing Belleville's. 2 things I learned in my active duty time, take care of your feet and drink water. Anyway, I needed a new pair of steel toe's for work(I am an environmental specialist and work in different petroleum based facilities doing stack testing) I am constantly up and down ladders, scaffolding, and in and out of trenches. Not only do these bad boys keep my feet from sweating profusely, they remained dry and warm after submerging my feet in mud(in freezing temperatures) and the best part is they feel like sneakers, I could play basketball in these! Pony up the $$$, you wont be disappointed.

I typically wear a 10w but belleville's have always run large on me for some reason. I went with the 9w and they fit perfect! Rule of thumb, order a full size down. I highly recommend these boots for whatever your needs are, my wife will even lets me wear them to church!

Had to give these a good couple of weeks of work before I decided to give my two cents.

Bottom line, these boots are fantastic. They took a couple of 8 hour shifts to break in, but the only pain I felt afterwards was from tying them too tight. The leather is supple and loose right out of the box. You get the feeling that you've just bought some very high-class footwear.

In the first week of ownership I've already had the opportunity to test out the Gore-Tex lining in the rain, and they performed flawlessly. Outside stomping around in the rain for hours at a time and my socks were bone dry, and they didn't get waterlogged at all.

Comfort is a definite priority with these boots. Had them on for a 20+ hour work shift with minimal discomfort. The soles are cushy yet flexible, so you don't get the feeling you're walking around with two broken feet. Just be sure not to tie them with too much vigor. Oh, and what they recommend about ordering a full size smaller is spot on. My normal size is 12.0, so I ordered an 11.0, and they are just perfect.

All in all, I hope these last a long time, as I have a tendency to destroy a pair of boots in a few months' time. I discovered that there is an authorized Vibram repair shop in my city, so knowing that I have a feeling I'll be wearing my Bellevilles for a long time coming.

I was despratly.in need of new boots, so I was searching around the web, found these, read the reviews, decided to buy them. First day or 2 it was horrible, BUT after the leather broke in, d everything settled in these are the best boots ever, I would buy them again no problem.

I would have got another 1/2 size smaller, but im perfrctly.happy with my 12.5 wide. Wearing a 12.5 EEEE normaly the wide is more than enough for my wide foot, shoe fits perfectly. I actually tested the water proof, I went about 6" deep and not a drop of water got into the boot, so that was worth the money there.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE TO EVERYONE!!!!!!

As a US Navy sailor it is hard to find black steel toe boots that are comfortable and within uniform regs. These boots are greaat and hold up just as advertised but there are a few things wrong with the description. It says they run little big but thats not true. I wear an 11.5 in sneakers as well as other boots but these I wear a 10.5. Also it says that they breath but that is false as well. Granted I do wear these between 8 and 14 hours a day depending on my duty days but still I wear my hunting boots for a full 24hrs when I go out. In the end my feet dont hurt and the steel toe will stop a 100lb steel plate from smashing my toes so as lng as you take the size under consideration you should be fine.

I'm very happy with these boots, and I'm extremely happy that I can get half sizes above size 12. I've been a size 13 most of my life, and steel-toed boots are never comfortable on me. By getting a 13 and 1/2, I get the extra toe room I need, without having to just get a size 14. They are a little expensive, but well worth it so far.

So far BEST I've had. Been wearing/living in my boots for over 20 years. These fit like a glove and were comfortable right out of the box. No real "break in" period necessary. Recently got rid of pair of Belleville TROP300ST after sole split across the "ball of foot". But had those for over 2 yrs.

I got these boots as a Christmas gift almost two years ago. I work on my fathers farm 50+ hours a week, and I needed a sturdy pair of boots, and these did the trick. I could run and walk in them as far as my body would let me with out hurting my feet. I was forced to buy a replacement pair a few months ago because the sole of the boot was finally stripped and they started to leak a little bit, but I am too attached to get rid of them. Best boots you will ever need, no matter what.

These boots are parade quality boots. I purchased them for our Legion Honor Guard duties and couldn't be happier with these great American made boots. If they were 10 inches high they would be perfect.
