I was looking for something like this shoe for a while. So far I'm very pleased. I will advise that these shoes will require an extended break-in period so if you're planning on using them on the trail for a longer hike make sure you've put some prior miles on them at shorter distances. Overall, highly recommended

These shoes are super nice... I live in Vegas and do a lot of walking outside. An Avg. 32,000 steps a day... I'm all about a tough, durable shoe with a comfortable mid and gnarly outsole.. These shoes fit the bill . But ! These are the most insane shoes to break in .. It took me about 3 weeks for these R2s to break in... Now on week four and there just starting to really get a good mold of my feet. So almost a month putting around 12 to 15 miles on them daily, but so worth it when they finally do break to your feet . Now I will say these shoes are by far have the best outsole with heavy Continental Tire Co. Grip . Which is my favorite feature on these kicks along with the sick swiftlace system that's so nice. So really, All in all the Adidas Swift R2 GTX shoes are outstanding and super handsome as well.. I usually wear and ordered these in Size 9.5 Black, and they run narrow .. So I recommend ordering a
.5 - half size up... Four and half stars due to the very long break in these shoes require before being comfortable...

The first pair lasted me two years, and i bought another pair. I use them for my EMS shifts (black pair), to mountain bike, trail run, hike, and my everyday shoe.
I love them.
