I tried other brands that were hotter or faded out in no time flat. For an all cotton, fire-safe shirt this is the most professional looking even coming out of gear, and dries the quickest (cooler than the pique all-cotton 5.11). It takes embroidery very well, and of course keeps track of your pen and Sharpie. 20 years ago I thought polos in the fire service was the dumbest thing I ever heard. This has made me a convert.

Very well made, very comfortable and light, great color and material. I love this polo BUT: This shirt is a lint, hair, fiber MAGNET! I have tried dryer sheets, cleaning the lint trap, everything, but whenever I want to wear this shirt I have to break out a lint brush and go over the entire shirt. I have the shirt in the dark navy blue and it shows off whatever it collects. ALSO, they advertise it's wrinkle free properties, but right out of the dryer it has what I call "micro-wrinkles", not long creases, but the wavy, puckering kind of wrinkles in the fabric that show up just below the chest. You really have to give it a quick iron for a true "professional" appearance.

I'm a HUGE fan of the tactical polo and the only detraction I have is that there is less color selection now than about a year ago. I've worn a range red polo pretty much weekly for the last year and a half and it's still bright enough to keep me safe on my bike. The sizes run slightly large, probably to accommodate in-service use over kevlar. If you use a pen on a LOT or like to have sunglasses at your fingertips, this is the shirt for you. I particularly suggest this item to pilots and journalists as well as first responder types.

I was looking to replace some old 5.11 Polo's I had bought about 10 years ago that are finally starting to wear out. Yes, they were that good. I got these in and was disappointed to find that they were cotten jersey material (like a T-shirt) instead of the cotton Pique the old ones were made of, which kept a good drape over concealed carry. Nonetheless, I like these new ones, just wish they were still the other fabric which didn't print a concealed weapon as easily.

I have been using these for years. I use the mic clip on the chest for my glasses as I am getting visually impaired in my old age. I wish they made them in green though.

This is my standard casual collared shirt. In the cool weather, I am usually in a 5.11 polo. Comfy and it holds up to laundering better than other brands I have owned.

I wear one almost every day. The only time I don't wear one is when all of the ones I own are dirty. It is not shiny at all and it feels very good against skin. Hairs and lint are easily visible on the black polo but that is to be expected with any black piece of clothing.

Very pleased overall, comfortable for uniform or OD wear. Looking forward to see how this shirt holds up after a few months, but I suspect it will do well.
