The Maxpedition Spartan Wallet features several slip pockets for holding currency, credit cards, ID and other small accessories. An additional mesh pocket on the exterior is great for holding small documents such as receipts or ticket stubs. Six individual card pockets inside the wallet feature hook and loop security flaps to keep the contents from sliding or falling out. This wallet is made with 1,000 denier ballistic nylon and a DuPont Teflon treatment for grime resistance and easy maintenance. This rugged wallet also protects your valuables from water thanks to taped and finished internal seams and a triple polyurethane coating. Lightweight and compact, this Spartan Wallet slips easily into your pocket for comfortable carrying.

I ordered the Maxpedition wallet when I found that uncle Mikes had discontinued the wallet that I carried for the last five years. There were two problems with my order. 1st, I was sent an email that stated "Would you consider this wallet with free shipping?" Good offer, so I immediately order wallet. Later, I found that I was charged $6.95 for shipping. Not good! Because of this I will not return to this site for future orders. Second, the wallet, when filled with cards and money, was round, rather than flat. I removed cards and money and carry the wallet empty in rear pocket until it flattens out, and ill ad cards and money at that point.

I've had the Spartan wallet for years now and am very pleased by how well its held up against the wear and tear I put on it. All pockets and velcro are still 100 percent functional. There are lots of pockets for ID and cards of all kinds and the bill fold section is nice and tall to fix non-US currency. Additionally the wallet has a great level of water resistance. I've gotten my pants completely soaked through in rain storms and only really seen the the outside of the wallet get damp. The outside mesh pocket is nice and I've never had my ID slip out of it. The only real damage at this point is that some of the stitching has come off around some of the velcro patches, but they are still secured and in working order as well as the key-chain flap on the outside becoming completely worn off. I would highly recommend them.

The name got me first because I like a minimal wallet. I wear BDU's so I can carry my wallet in the cargo thigh pocket. This wallet fits in the OCTA wast pack front pocket (I wrote a review on that too - excellent bag!). Anyway, I like a thin wallet, check out the reviews of this on YouTube, a German guy gives an excellent review of this and another Maxpedition wallet side by side. They use the Euro and a coin pocket for the one and two Euro coin is nice to have. I love this wallet.

This wallet is awesome! Bought it to replace my leather Harley Davidson wallet. More pockets and isn't uncomfortable to sit on. ABSOLUTELY love this wallet! Great construction! I definitely recommend it!!!
