The Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack was created for those seeking a larger version of the best-selling Maxpedition Fatboy but with a concealed carry system. The Jumbo borrows the Fatboy's popular shoulder-sling concept, but contains a main compartment over 38 percent larger than the Fatboy. It also includes two sleeve pockets, three zippered accessory pockets and a drawstring pocket fitted for a water bottle or radio. You can add other Maxpedition accessories to the Jumbo using 3-inch TacTie. The large hook-and-loop patches at the rear slip compartment let you integrate hook-and-loop modular accessories, which allows you to position your concealed carry firearm to be drawn from either side. Internal and external keypers keep your keys or equipment secure and at the ready.

A bit stiff, but a great product. Solid, very well made. Should have come with an explanation of what each tab, clip, fastener, flap, pouch and piece of Velcro tape is for. A sample of the variety of things that it can be used for would make this item even more attractive.

This is a great shoulder bag for going on hikes or in the field. Lots of compartments to store almost anything you want (including a nice lunch, if you like). Water container holds my 32oz bottle very well, and has a tie down to hold it in place. Space for tools, a knife, even a handgun if I wanted to carry it. So far I've carried my dog's electronic collar control in it and am able to keep it very handy. I'm very happy with this product.

This bag is very well built and pretty well laid out. Holds everything securely and is comfortable when worn like a messenger bag. Full size duty weapon, knife, multi-tool, handcuffs, extra mags, radio (or water bottle if not in work mode), and whatever other non-essentials seemed essential when packing! Currently looking for the right size/shape/color Maxpedition for my wife and with the variety offered, I think it'll happen.

I am so pleased with my purchase...I haven't even received it yet! But, after a long search for various type bags, I had to buy me a Versapack Jumbo. My only real qualifications was a Concealed Carry space with a space that could hold my 21 oz. Hydroflask water bottle and it had to NOT look like a tactical bag that would scream police (Especially since I am not a police officer, but am a huge supporter of LEO's). And it had to be of high quality construction because it would be my EDC bag going forward. From all the reviews, I know I'm getting the best bag available at this price point. I ordered one in the new brown color option. I'm drooling over the pics already and can't wait to be able to carry it all the time! I'll give an updated review at a later date. Blessings to all!

Heavy daily use for more then one year now. Still holding up strong after one year of daily abuse as my EveryDay Carry bag. It has sufficient pockets for all tools I need, plenty of space left for phone and random other stuff I might have to take with me on the job.

It is just : I carry the bag backward. To me it didn't make sense letting your keys dangle on you back in the city. Also I have a 16oz bottle I carry everyday with me in the pocket. Since I use that a lot I prefer to have that on the front side. So officially it is a left side carry which I carry without any problems on the right side. Great Product.

Maxpedition makes high quality gear that, although useful to military types, is not specifically designed for them.
This bag, for example, has pouches that work perfectly for a water bottle, eye glasses/goggles, digital camera and a concealed carry holster. The main compartment is an expandable water-proof bag. The straps are generous in size and the bag is padded where it touches your side/leg.
Perfect for a day at the park with the kids or at the range with friends and family. Makes an excellent GO bag for the trunk or home. The ultimate man purse.

I was extremely disappointed in this pack. The material was very stiff and the plastic brittle and sounded like it would crack at any minute. I returned it to Tactical Gear and was pleased at the ease in returning it. My money was refunded upon receipt of the returned bag.

The Verspack is well designed, and ruggedly built. The materials are top of the line, and should take a lot of use and abuse. I'm very glad that I chose it over other available packs.

BAG MATERIAL IS TOUGH, DURABLE, WATER PROOF, AND PLENTY OF ROOM.
COLOR WAS EXACTLY WHAT i HAD ENVISIONED. SNAP ON IN FRONT OR SIDE WORKS GREAT AND DOES NOT UNBUCKLE EASILY.

I've had my Versi for 3 years now and it has only gotten better with time as it softens up with use. I have used it for wildlife photography as well as an excellent overnight hiking bag. Holds everything I feel I can use for 24 hours. Currently has my EDC, MRE, poncho, water etc.
I NEVER leave home without it, so shouldn't you.
