Lightweight and highly versatile, the Elite Survival Systems Deep Cover Ultra provides a superior outside-the-waistband carrying experience. This holster is made of padded ballistic nylon with a soft nylon lining, and is completely ambidextrous for use by both left and right handed shooters. The adjustable, injection molded thumb break retention strap secures the firearm and allows for a fast, efficient draw. The holster’s slim design provides maximum concealment, and moisture-resistant materials protect the firearm from the elements. It fits belts up to 1.75 inches wide and is able to hold a wide range of handguns. This holster gives you the edge you need when carrying.

Overall, this holster is well made, durable and functional. I've not used in the field yet, but have used for dryfire exercises, and it performs the job it's supposed to. I gave 4 stars because of (2) issues:

(1) The holster is EXTREMELY stiff and will take sufficient time to break in and mold to the shape of your firearm. Out of the box, it's so stiff that it pushes the slide back when holstering/reholstering (obviously a huge safety concern for a single stack, single-action handgun). I'd recommend only using one firearm with this holster to maintain the molded shape over time and the holsters purchase on your firearm. I purchased the small for my Walther PPS-M2 9MM Sub Compact and it fits perfectly after holstering/reholstering and stretching/working the nylon over the course of a few days.

(2) Although the holster has an adjustable velcro/rubber strap, due to the stiffness of the holster, it's a little challenging to adjust in a hurry, although, once adjusted, it works perfectly and will remain in place. They provide a small plastic strip to insert into the "molle" velcro pocket under the strap to make things easier while adjusting. The rubber strap seems solid and durable enough to stand up to a beating over time and doesn't feel or look flimsy.

I was looking for an inexpensive and durable holster to use for weekend camping trips, and this will definitely do the job.

Always enjoy buying from TG! Excellent customer service, fast delivery and solid products you can rely on: so 5 Stars for TG.

Stiff. Lots of break in time needed for proper gun fit. light and fairly comfortable though. Major complaint : slide ejection port hangs on top of holster when holstering.
