I'm 6' tall and 265 lbs, and had been looking for a plate carrier that would fit me for a LONG time. Every carrier I had looked at was way too small, and these "one size fits all" carriers were anything but that. I ran across this Defender DFPC-002 model at a gun show in Reno, NV. I tried it on, and couldn't believe I finally found a carrier that fit me! I have my carrier rigged with Level 3A Kevlar soft armor and trauma pads underneath the Kevlar all around. 10x12 shooter's cut in the front, 10x12 full square in the back, and 6x6 squares on the sides. Compared to other plates I have, this makes for a nice, lightweight system I can use for my security gigs in sketchy neighborhoods. My other plate carrier was an US Military Interceptor model that was a bit small, and had no side protection at all. I'm very pleased with this carrier, and surprised at how comfortable it is. As far as putting it on and taking it off goes, it's easy. I slip it straight down over my head, and don't have to move or undo anything to get it on, and remove it by pulling it straight up over my head as well. It doesn't get any easier than that!

Very comfortable, easy to adjust, and tons of room to attach all your gear. My one gripe is that, even at 6'1", 200 pounds, the carrier feels huge so I had to really dial down the shoulder straps to get it to fit right, which left the end of the straps pulled down through the whole section of velcro PALS webbing, so I had to cut about 4 inches off the straps. No other issues though, I would definitely recommend this carrier, and a bunch of my friends have shown interest in it themselves after seeing mine.

No complaints. The price is right for what it is. It fits good, accepts 10x12 plates and soft armor. The stitching is good and I recommend this to anyone on a budget. I'm an ex paratrooper and wore a Point Blank IBA for years. Though the Condor isn't as well made, it's 1/5 the cost and it isn't made for multiple deployments into theatre. It is good for the average person or guys that want to be "tacticool" playing airsoft..... I do suggest not going cheap on plates and soft armor.

Got this for my 10X12 plates. I am 6.1 and 190lbs. This plate carrier fits perfectly. I do have everything taken up almost all the way so if you are thinner than I am you may have to do so extra adjusting to make it fit. However it will fit most anyone. It carries very comfortably and is super durable. Really the only con and reason I did not give full 5 stars is that it is heavy. There are higher end (more expensive) vest that do just as well and are lighter. Having said that though I am very pleased with this product and for my budget with this project it is perfect. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone.

This is great plate carrier. I received it and got it set up the way I had it on the team. Went to the range last Sunday and it worked great. Did some prone work and moving and shooting. This is a very solid plate carrier and plenty of space to set it up for mission specific work. I love the Velcro tabs underneath for a real secure fit for your equipment. I wanted to say thanks for a great piece of equipment. The fit on his carrier is incredible. I would highly recommend this vest to my brothers out there. Thanks for great product and what your company has to offer.

For the price, its an extremely well built carrier. Lots of MOLLE and Velcro for add on's and to keep everything in place, comfy when its on and have had no problems with mobility when running my loadout.

The only downside is that its still too big. Im 5'10 190 lbs about a medium build and even fully adjusted the front plate sits too low. Also to get the cummerbund to fit snug you have to adjust it to where the side plates are too far foward.

Great quality, just needs more adjustments for us smaller guys

The material and sewing seems to be of good quality. I think it would be too bulky for every day patrol but it makes a good raid vest or rapid response vest. I used soft armor front and back and a rifle plate in the front. I don't like a cumber bun attachment system but I understand using it for a one-size-fits-most vest. The shoulder straps are really long if you are smaller framed but can be adapted to work. So far I'm happy with it.

Very high quality construction. I removed the shoulder pads, adjusted the straps all the way and its still way too big for me though. The description said Medium to XXL. I'm 5' 6" and 165lbs. I wear medium in every type of clothing/gear I own or have ever been issued.

This is a fairly larger plate carrier. I’m having trouble adjusting the straps just right and getting it to fit. Holds my departments soft armor just right and there is plenty of space for all of my pouches. Overall not a bad plate carrier just too large for me.

Defender plate carrier is fully adjustable for height so you can position your armor properly over your vitals as well as for that tactical girth. Has internal pouches with retention straps for SAPI plates and compartment for soft armor too both front and back. Also comes with a padded insert to place between you and your armor to you comfy and to keep your armor from getting sweaty. Cumber bund is adjustable and has pouches for side plates. Well made and reasonably comfortable. padded shoulder straps are a plus.
