Love the heavy duty material covering all the high wear areas; round where the backpack shoulder-straps would wear the most (shoulders), and the back of the elbows and forearms. I am a 42' jacket size (suit jacket) and the Large fit just right. Nice, warm, thick fleece, more stout and substantial than your average fleece jacket, which I was happy for. Only slight draw back, and probably where what keeps the price down, is the zippers are not YKK. The front, main, zipper can be a little finicky when you set it, and start at the bottom. But nothing an second of fiddling has not solved. I have already worn it camping and around town. Excellent value, great jacket.

I love everything about this jacket. This jacket will last a long time. A lot longer than I would actually hope, because I probably won't be wearing it much. I am 6 foot tall and weigh about 250, so I ordered an XXL. The jacket is skin tight. Maybe that's the design and maybe its not the jacket for me??? But I would recommend, going an additional size up if you want a little bit of wiggle room in your jacket.

Certainly a thicker fleece than others I own. Nylon is placed on the underside of the forearms exactly where others grow thin. The nylon yoke helps keep drizzle and snow from seeping in. The inside backing helps block wind, yet s breathable. The slash pockets fit gloves or my phone with room left for my hands. I'm not a fan of the thumbhole cuffs, so I just tuck them under. Zippers are solid and functional. Velcro accommodates two hat patches or one larger patch. I wear it plain or as a loner under my old military gortex. The high collar is perfect and keeps the wind at bay. It is Condor, so it runs small. I'm usually an easy XL, so the XXL was perfect.

Condor has another winner on its hands with this ‘Alpha’ Micro Fleece jacket. I’ve already raved about their Phantom soft shell and this garment is another excellent product. Cleverly designed with plenty of useful features; front (lined) hand warmer zip up pockets, left sleeve and a chest pocket with a pass through grommet for ear buds, Velcro patches on both sleeves, and an elastic adjustable waist drawstring, it’s a complete package. I am 5’ 8” and about 160# and the Medium is a perfect fit except the sleeves are a little bit long. This jacket works very well as an insulating liner under a Gore-Tex shell without adding much bulk or in drier weather on its own. The only con is that the cuffs are a strange, non-elastic fabric and have a thumb hole which is a feature that I’ve never quite understood. Seems like something that you’d expect in women’s yoga attire and not a men’s tactical jacket. Still, this is a great value and a versatile piece of outerwear.

This is a well made jacket with every kind of functional pocket you could want on a garment. Thanks to some of the other Gear-heads
that reviewed this item (they mentioned that their regular size seemed a bit small) I ordered an XL instead of L and am very happy with the fit and design. You can also use it as a layer garment under a shell for colder weather.

Size runs a little large, I’m 6’3” and 215 pounds but the XL is still a little big on me. The construction and overall quality are good, I’m watching the zipper to see how that does over time. Overall I am really pleased with this jacket, working outdoors all day in 26 to 50 degree weather and this piece keeps me warm in the morning with a couple of base layers.

Being a bigger guy, at 6 foot and about 260 pounds, I teeter between 3XL and 2XLT, and having read that these run slightly small, got the 3XL. The chest section fits perfectly. The sleeves are a bit roomy, but it works. The sleeves, for me at least, are a bit long, but, again, manageable. The only thing that keep me from giving it full 5 stars, is that the cuffs are fixed, non-elastic or otherwise flexible. This makes it hard to get a hand through without also pushing the cuff extension out as well. On my watch arm, my thinner watch clears as well as my hand does, however, if I have my Nixon Mission smartwatch on, it does not clear the cuff, at all.

Ordered the XL in OD color and fits great. (Usually wear a large jacket...as others have noted runs a bit small)
Get lots of compliments on fit n finish. Also works perfect as a liner for my condor tactical shell jacket...making a great winter coat.

I purchased two (2) of the Condor Alpha Micro Fleece Jackets while they were on sale prior to Christmas. Condor has a great reputation in "TacticalGeared" products. They are very comfortable, well made and a high quality product. I have found that I don't have to have a jacket when wearing them. It's also great having the additional zippered pockets. My order was placed and shipped quickly. Keep up the great products

Much better than I expected. Super comfortable and fit as described. Lots of pockets. Breathable but warm and wind resistant. Not wind proof but makes a great shell liner. Mine had some plastic pieces in one of the arm pockets, probably left over from manufacturing but brushed right out and didn't affect the build quality at all. All seams are stitched well with no hanging threads. Love it.
