With a razor-sharp blade and frame lock, this everyday carry knife stands up to its lineage, and stands apart in a new league of its own. Robert Carter is an up-and-coming knife designer from Hillister, Texas. He spent years learning the knife making traditions of his father, Joe Pardue and grandfather, Mel Pardue. Later, he wanted to design a folder substantial enough for a big task, and sleek enough to live in a pocket. So he created the mighty Jettison. This distinctive looking folder holds its own with a 3.2" modified sheepsfoot blade that's ideal for everyday tasks in the shop, home or wherever a job calls out for you. Just reach into your pocket, grab the smooth stonewash stainless steel handle and put the Jettison to work. Its frame lock will secure the blade when open and ensure you are good to go. When you've got a big job to do, the Jettison is up for the challenge.

The Jettison knife is my new favorite daily user. Always want this knife on me at all times of the day. It’s sleek, sharp and has a strong thick blade. The blade is heavy enough when you use the finger switch release the blade clicks into lock position. Easiest when you hold the knife down at your side. Jettison just flicks right open for any task or a quick protection. Had this knife in my cart for a long time and finally bought it for myself. CRKT is a wonderful company and always comes w that lifetime warranty. So yeah 5 stars for sure.

Out of the box, looks good, fuctions with one finger to open. Sharp and ready to use.
Fits in the pocket with the clip, doesn't seem to want to fall out no matter what work you are involved in. It takes a little more force to clip on pocket but pays off on not falling out .
