I think this is a great pack. Has plenty of organization and pockets. Can easily be used for work, a small bugout bag, and school backpack. Some of the reviews say it can be a little bigger, this is true depending on what its intent is. As it is, it works great as a daypack. It is small enough to be a personal carry on bag for the plane. I thoroughly enjoy it. I do however think, I may take out the hard backing board. I don't believe it is necessary because the back panel is pretty rigid as is.
The material is pretty durable and the pack is very light unpacked. I see no downside to purchasing this pack. I work for a company that does a lot of work for customs and border protection and just about every agent has these packs that they use daily to keep their extra gear. They inspired me to buy the pack.

I have had this backpack for 10 months now and use it as my everyday carry bag. It is built well, using quality materials. I like the different main pockets and that the laptop pocket is in the middle instead of the usual back. That way your laptop is not against your back when wearing the bag. The rest of the bag is very intuitively built. There are 2 things that I wish were different, but are not deal breakers. First, I wish the admin pocket on the front had a little more organization. I fixed this issue by getting a "tech" pouch to organize all of my cords and tech accessories. Second, my 32oz hydroflask water bottle does not fit in the the side water bottle pouch. So, now I have to use a smaller bottle. However, I would still get this bag, very happy with my purchase.

We've got a lot of bags, bags for this purpose, bags for that situation. Camelbak has done a good job of eliminating some of those for us. This bag seems indestructible(we treat our gear well, but some neglect occurs). I'd buy a second one at this price. This company treated us well,we'll buy from them again.

No air flow on the back, horrible in warm to hot weather. Side pocket for water bottle is way too small. Narrow base of the bag plus the unnecessary long plastic back support keeps it from standing upright. This is very annoying, as when you place the bag on the ground it just flops over on it's front side. This could potentially damage anything sensitive you may have in the front pockets i.g. your phone etc. However, I do like the padded bottom portion for the laptop pocket. All in all this bag disappoints, I had high hopes but if some of the things I mentioned were fixed this bag would be great.
