The MultiCam version is made with durable 500 denier Cordura nylon, while the solid color versions are made with 500 denier ripstop nylon. Without any gear or plates, this carrier weighs next to nothing. I bought it just to add a couple of rifle and pistol pouches for drills at the range and its really to light to use without some type of support. I purchased trauma pads to add some support and that really helped. I'm 6 ft 196 lbs and bought the L/XL. I have everything adjusted almost as small as it will go and it fits ok. It will serve my purpose.
