We all have bad holster stories. Not quite right which leads to a pile of unused holsters laying around. I thought about this purchase for a couple months. A lot of money for a holster that wasn't just right. This is one bad ass holster. It is at your natural hand postition. It took about 20 - 25 minutes to get the adjustments just right. I put it on the Military web belt which is one tough belt. The button release in a natural when drawing the weapon. I wanted something I could run in. My 1911 has found its home.

I love wearing this holster. The retention is just as easily disengaged as it is engaged. Just a little click and your sidearm is cemented to the holster. Just a little squeeze with your index finger and it's free. The rugged, bungee leg straps are super comfortable and both secure with a solid buckle. Having a double strap on the leg really keeps the holster tied down, preventing sway and jiggling. The platform pretty easily accepts mag pouches from Blackhawk. The straps that attach to your belt have a swivel joint in the middle offering superior flexibility within the straps (no binding or bunching while running) and keeps the handgun parallel with the thigh even with awkward movements, assuring the gun is where it is supposed to be.

Overall this holster is very comfortable, secure, and reliable. Get one.

It's very difficult to find a level 2 holster for a Springfield Operator 45. Being a Bow Hunter I needed a thigh holster since I always wear a backpack. After returning a couple of 1911 holsters because they did not fit, this one was perfect. I spent 4 days in Idaho to bag an elk and had zero problems with this holster.

Having already owned the blackhawk cqb holster for EDC. I have been wanting to try this leg drop for a while and happy to it dosent disappointed. I test running with it bending down and crawling. It stayed in place disnt ride up at all. The extra protection the holster it self adding made sure my sidearm was well protected from any out side element. If you looking for a drop leg get this you won't be sorry.

I purchased the Level 2 SERPA Holster for my recent deployment to Iraq and it exceeded my expectations. I watched others drop or mishandle their weapons because of inferior holsters, whereas I never once had a mishap. It doesn't get any safer than having your sidearm locked into place safely on your hip. No matter how many times you hit it on the side of a helo or vehicle when getting in or out, it never once fell out. Yet, with the one-touch release I could draw without hesitation. Nothing compares.

Well designed and stabile- quality design and parts. Stays solid and stabile on your thigh- the straps are "anti skid" and grip well- the double drop straps add even more stability while the Serpa lock keeps your side arm securely holstered under any circumstances - definitely thumbs up and 5 stars !!

Perfect holster from going on a home to tactical training. I like that you can put the belt keeps on separately so you can put the holster on when need. Easy and fast draw while it will not come out until you need the weapon. I have a heavy 1911 and it balances great.

I purchased one of the holsters and platforms to carry my M9 as a DOD officer and a reserve MP with the US ARMY. Best holster money can buy. I raved about it so much that 90% of my shift went to carrying these. Cant say enough good about this product. BUY IT!!!!

I very much like the way the platform hugs your leg. I was able to run with my firearm and not think twice if it was gonna fall out or off. 5 star rating 🙂
