I've used this Balaclava both with and without a military helmet and it was very comfortable in both situations. I can't speak for fire resistants yet (thankfully) but a friend of mine who welds a lot tells me it's very fire resistant. Otherwise it works well to add camouflage to your head and face, and in warmer climates doesn't cause to much extra heat. (Doesn't do much for colder temps though in my opinion).
Would recommend this to otheres? Yes
Would I purchase again from this seller? Yes
Is this a good value for the price? Well I paid about $10.00 so YES

The actual material is see through once streched over my head.. i wish it was thicker to atleast offer some wind protection but i dont think these will cut it for our winters, other reviews state hat it can be used in the cold but i have to disagree, this is a summer only balclava by itself, but coupled with a hat and a scarf or neckwarmer of some kind it should be a nice layer, breathable to say the least.

This serves the purpose of what I wanted it for. I love to fish but can't tolerate the cold wind on my face. I would buy it again.

On the first day of receiving the balaclava, I ripped a hole on top of the product, it was my fault and I don't blame the manufacturers, I just sowed everything back together, easy fix. The main problem I have with this product is that the color I paid for, olive drab, seems more to be a light brown, good news is I got my brother a new present. He seems to enjoy the product very much.

Great fit, breathable, can’t blow out a match through it so it’s a good COVID-19 face covering, but the material is a little itchy. Hoping that goes away after a few washes.

I love this thing! Blackhawk is truly the best when it comes to these! I would buy another in a heart beat! Very stretchy, light waight, it does hold in quite a bit of heat in the cold. But it also is very well ventalated for the heat. In my mind this is the best Balaclava for all tactical situations.

I was disappointed with this product. There is a seam, very poorly sewn, which comes together, covering the area of the nose.

Stitching has a lot to be desired. Looks like a second run product.
Not what I expected

It is thinner than expected, but still nice and fits well. Made in Canada, so good quality.

for $15 I probably could have bought the materials and sewn a better one together myself
