Awesome product! I purchased this holster for carry while riding my motorcycle. The thumb snap and high quality leather keep my beretta safe and secure even when the roads get rough. I highly recommend this set up for anyone looking for strong retention and superior craftsmanship.

I have two of these BHX holsters and as the previous two reviewers said they are second to none. Thickest leather that I have seen in any other holster, fits my pistols like a glove, no binding and both pistols slide in and out like butter. The only two complaints I have are, the holster for the 1911 commander model is about 3/4″ too long and you don’t offer it in polished black. As for the length 3/4″ may not seem like much but when trying to carry concealed in the hot and humid South every little bit matters. Keep up the great work.

After having searched the internet for days looking for a OWB thumb break holster to fir my Sarsilmaz CM9 Gen 2 I had almost resigned myself to buying one of those nylon one- size-fits- all holsters that don’t do anything well. Out of desperation I called 1791 Gunleather for help. After discussing my requirements and having no ready-made solutions, Tony recommended the BHX holster fitted for a pistol of similar size and shape (I believe it was a Sig Saur). I received the holster yesterday and sure enough the fit was , not really form fitting. As instructed, I wrapped my pistol in a heavy-duty plastic bag and forced it into the holster until the trigger guard bottomed out. To put the icing on the cake I applied a heavy coat of leather conditioner to the holster and let it sit overnight. This morning I removed the pistol and the plastic bag and reinserted the pistol into the holster. I fit like a glove. It’s a little tight but as it’s used it will loosen up a bit. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the holster and of the customer service. 1791 Gunleather is now my “go to” source for holsters and I recommend them without reservation. For some reason I gave them 5 stars but on the page it only shows 4 stars. Tried to change it a couple of time but it won’t work.

I purchased a BHX-thumb break holster for my Beretta 92 & 92FS and I could not be happier. I cannot believe the quality and craftsmanship for the price. This is by far the finest holster I own. The break-in was so easy. I simply placed my Beretta in a plastic sandwich bag, inserted it in the holster, worked it back and forth about a dozen times and I let it sit like that overnight. The next day I removed the bag and the gun slide in and out like it’s greased with butter. The quality of the leather and stitching is second to none. I will be ordering another IWB holster for my 92FS and another one for my HKVP9sk.

I am very impressed ! I ordered a black one for a CZ 75B (to use for my Tristar T-120 CZ clone), and the fit is perfect. The leather is way heavier than I expected, when compared to some Bianchi holsters. I also like that it was not super shiny. Followed the instructions for stretching and the draw is smooth and not tight at all, which is what I prefer. I’ll be ordering one for my Beretta 92 and another for a 1911 soon. Definitely money well spent !
