I use this pack for traveling for work. I have a small Lenovo laptop that fits the laptop sleeve along with an ipad which has its own soft case. The computer sleeve could be deeper. It's bottom is about 4 inches from the bottom of the pack and creates a funky space below it when the computer is in the sleeve. I also don't love the drain holes in the bottom of the pack. If there's enough water in the pack that it needs to drain out then the drain holes are the least of my problems; then I'd need a new laptop and ipad.

Pack feels light duty but still sturdy and durable. Zippers all function well without needing to secure the spot from which you're pulling (i.e. one hand operation works well). I haven't used the hydration compartment but glad to have it available. The pack is very comfortable to wear but I haven't loaded the thing down. Even so, I believe it would still be comfortable to carry with a full load.

I would definitely recommend this pack and am considering getting another one b/c of the price.

My biggest gripe has nothing to do with the I definitely like the pack and would recommend it to a friend who is looking for a light duty pack.

Purchased one liked it so well purchased two more of the same, Perfect size for work, school or just a day pack also works great as a Tactical pack perfect size many compartments large and small to organize your equipment or school supplies. Quality of the pack is very good well constructed, I myself wasn't sure either of the quality or the size so I purchased one just to see, because I liked what I saw, it's perfect so I bought two more, I use one for work and another is for special jobs when I need a tactical pack that doesn't look at all like a tactical pack ,but performs just as well as any tactical pack of the same size. I would recommend this pack.

The pack is very well balanced and carries well. The handle at the top is very handy, and I really like all the packets. It makes it essay to segregate my gear. The only thing that I do not like about the pack are the holes in the bottom for drainage? I noticed that when I set the pack on the ground or the beach, the holes on the bottom tend to suck up what ever is on the ground. I have to be careful where i set it down as not to get sand and dirt inside the pack.

I did a one year stint in Afghanistan as a contractor several years ago and purchased this bag specifically for the trip. It's been 4 years since and this bag is still going strong after near daily use. While I was there I basically lived out of it, it expands big enough to fit an outfit or two, a full sized laptop, and comes with plenty of other pouches where I was able to stash other electrical equipment. The back is padded so it's comfortable to wear for long periods and it even has a back zippered section where I kept important paperwork. I couldn't have asked for a better bag to travel with, the thing's been a dear friend for years. I'm considering purchasing another just so I have it even though my original barely shows any signs of wear.

This is my second 5.11 backpack. I was looking for something that was not an obvious LEO backpack and i believe i found a good match. Very strudy, and various convenient pockets located through out the backpack. I especially like the gun pocket located inside, very capable of holding my service weapon and other tools.

Awesome backpack! I use it daily to carry my lunch and workout supplies including a pair of shoes. It has many storage spots to keep it all organized. On top of that it needed to be durable, comfortable, water resistant because i ride my motorcycle to work during the summer. And this pack does just that.

I was impressed with the construction of the bag. There is enough room for all my things. I use it for work, and when I go hunting. When the straps are set right, it feels good when you wear it. My grandson doesn’t want my old bag, he wants the new one. Guess what I’ll be buying soon.

This pack exceeded my expectations. The spacious compartments provides versatility for my many adventures. One thing is missing or should be made available is the waist strap/belt. Other wise its a well balanced and comfortable pack.

I have been using this for just over a week, and I love it. It has plenty of storage and different compartments that you can organize your gear in. It is 100% covert and it is the most comfortable backpack I have ever owned.

I really like this pack. It is very well built and will be able to handle most of your everyday needs.
I just wish it had more storage pockets for smaller everyday items.
