This boot is nothing like the typical Tactical Research boots I've ordered prior to these. The style is different and they are a lot heavier than the ones I have. "Ultralight," not at all. Hard, stiff, non-flexible. Runs a half size smaller than the typical TR. Great outer soles and appearance. The zipper is firm and stable. But just not the typical TR.

This is the second pair of TR boots I've had. I started with a pair of Khybers I fell in love with. These after only a few short months of use are tearing at the seams, zipper splitting, cant tighten them or the zipper splits, and are nowhere near as comfortable as the khybers. I would not recommend this model. I replaced my khybers with these only because of time in use and some wear, they are my secondary pair, id 100% recommend those.
