5.11 Stryke TDU Pants are the latest innovation in the field of tactical pants. I own two pairs of these pants and love them. They do not have the expanding waist like the original Stryke pants, but they overall waist is somewhat elastic due to the light weight material at and above the pockets. This is the same material right behind the knee. It allows these pants to breathe very well. These pants appear to be articulated a little more than the basic 5.11 pants and even more so than the original Stryke pant. They have very heavy duty draw strings at the cuff of the pants. I highly recommend them. They are a little higher in price, but well worth it in my opinion. I like my pants long and when I wear boots and jeans I wear a 36 length. My other 5.11 pants are all 36 length. My first pair of the Stryke TDU pants were ordered with a 36 length, but were WAYYYYYYY too long. I returned them with no problem and ordered a 34 length.........it was perfect. They do run a tad long....FYI.
