The Galco Miami Classic Shoulder System is a modern iteration of Galco's original shoulder harness, which set an industry standard over 40 years ago. Constructed from premium saddle leather, it suits semiautomatic pistols and some revolvers and operates on a swivel spider harness. Each of the four points of the harness pivot independently for maximum comfort and functionality. Galco's signature Flexalon swivel back plate connects each point and ensures a secure fit for wearability and optimal firearm safety. The harness is large enough to fit chests up 52 inches and the holster sits safely on the buckles. An open-front ammo carrier is included with this shoulder system, which sits horizontally in the harness for easy ammo retrieval.

I think that I received the wrong holster for my 1911as I have and continue to work with the holster and am not satisfied with the fit. I realize that leather will stretch and loosen but my Ruger seems to big for the holster.

This is one universal and very comfortable holster. I bought it mainly for my Glocks and the 19's, 23's fit tight just like they're supposed to before being broken in. Even my Glock .45 fits but too tightly. (I like this holster so much I'm going to order the Miami Classic II for the .45). The mag carrier is a nice fit too. It's easy to put together and fully adjustable. You can't go wrong with this holster, after all it's a Galco!

I bought this product for a Springfield 1911 for my Father In Law as a Gift. The holster does not provide a secure fit and the safety strap is too loose. The weapon has fallen out of the holster a couple of times and this is NOT what we wanted. It is well made and looks very nice but the pistol will not ride securely in the holster and we were quite disappointed.
