Elite Survival Systems Recon 5 Sleeping Bag Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

I recently had drill up in Minnesota during the month of May. Temperatures got down to 20-30 F during the night. This sleeping bag kept me warm and out of the cold. I only wore my silkies and my waffle top when sleeping. Had enough room to stuff my boots and socks at the bottom to keep them out of the cold. Overall, a pretty good product.

This bag feels high quality and I am sure it will last. The Recon 5 is great if you plan on camping around the 40 or high 30 Fahrenheit. If you don't mind wearing multiple layers I am sure you would be able to sleep warm at lower temperatures.

What I had on to sleep was
1 collared shirt
2 light undershirts
1 briefs
1 workout shorts
1 jeans

The build quality of this bag is great. Looking forward to a cold weather trip. This bag looks better than the pictures and feels very comfortable. Even compressed the 5 is still a fairly big bag. Highly recommend.
