Got this jacket for work in EMS in Charlotte, NC. The jacket is warm enough to allow me to wear short sleeves for the year, and I can remove the Velcro patches if I want to wear it outside of work.
I am a slim build, tall, with narrow shoulders. I measured myself out before I ordered my size, as I normally wear a medium t-shirt. I also tried on a large before ordering.
The medium fits perfectly, and I don't feel restricted in movement. I also have enough room to put a fleece jacket underneath for extra warmth if necessary. I can understand why people would say to order a bigger size, but it wasn't necessary in my case. The only place it's seemingly a little tight is under the armpits.

Bought this for my walk to work mainly as a rain coat. Works great!! Plenty warm and wind resistant. Easy to wear another fleece layer underneath. The collar is a bit bulky when the hood is stowed, but they all are. The packets are placed perfectly to fit between the waist belt and chest strap on my pack. Some mention the armpits are a bit tight. I haven't noticed that, but if they are, it keeps the sleeves from being bunched up by my shoulder straps. The velcro cuffs are nice. The hood is lined and velcros closed so rain doesnt pour in, which is a nice unexpected feature. The main zipper is a bit sticky. I'm a solid XL, ordered the XXL because it's Condor, and it fits perfect.

Very nice jacket. The only place I found an X-Small. I am a petite woman 4'11 115 lbs. and the X-S fits me perfectly with room for a sweater underneath. Lots of pockets! Nice zippers! Seems very well made. I washed and dried it once so far and it still looks great. I like the velcro for patches on the arms. The large pocket across the back is nice too, as well as the inside pockets. It is light but warm. You won't be disappointed if you're looking for a professional jacket that keeps you warm and dry.

Purchased this prior to a family vacation, wasn't going to bring it with... Was glad I did...Was on the Hatteras ferry when a downpour hit-wind blown rain etc...Couldn't feel the wind-stayed toasty, waist-up didn't get the slightest bit wet. Fit is pretty spot on-I wear XL and this one fits right. Couldn't even begin to put stuff in all the pockets and storage spots. I put the necessary patches on the provided and spacious Velcro pads too . Overall I don't think I can say anything bad or negative about this one-time will tell on the durability . Buy this one if you can !

I work in Arizona and ride a motor for work. I purchased the jacket well over 5 months ago and i am quite happy with it. I normally wear a xl jacket and decided to go with a xxl since i was going to wear the jacket over my vest and uniform. The jacket fits well no issues with the fit. It's snug enough and comfortable. No restrictions while dealing with an uncooperative suspect. The jacket kept me dry during a lite rain. However, I don't think this jacket would have kept me dry during our monsoon season.
I had to wear an cold gear and long sleeve compression shirt underneath the jacket to keep me warm while riding in 30+ degree weather.
I like the front pockets and had plenty of room to store an audio recorder and notepad with easy access. The botton of the jacket will cover your handgun and taser so I had to tuck in the bottom so I could access my weapons. I wish the jacket had a slot or opening I could slid the bottom of the jacket over my weapon instead of tucking it in. But to be honest that was bot a huge issue.
I wish this jacket was actually windproof but overall, I like this jacket and would purchases another one once I've worn this one out.

I bought this jacket fot me and another one for my son. It is excelent quality outer layer, many pockets (plus two small inner pockets in every big side pocket). This jacket fits as expected. But I found just one uncomfortable thing - when the hood is folding in it's collar's pocket collar is very high, thick and hard. This is make it uncomfortable. So, just 4 stars to this jacket. But in general this is great jacket! My thanks to the customer service and to condor!

I purchased this along with the fleece to go with it. I used both recently during a a cold and wet training day. The way the jacket beaded the water was perfect! Although it did not break the chill from the wind, it did its job keeping me dry. For the record I am a 5'8" athletic build woman with a bigger chest DDD and purchased a large. It fits great in the area just a tad long in the arms however totally okay with it. Definitely worth using on trips and training.

I'm about 5'11", around 165, with what I would call an athletic build. I'm not barrel-chested by any means, but I'm not rail-thin either. Without taking measurements, I risked ordering a large. For the money, this jacket is outstanding. It's very comfortable, functional, and seems to be very well-made. There's even a little spot on the inner tag for you to write your name if you wanted to. I feel like the sizing is spot-on, but if you're really worried or unsure, your best bet is to take a measurement. If in between sizes, definitely go up, since the jacket has enough adjustability to accommodate a little extra slop. I can't believe I waited as long as I did, but having worn it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this jacket again in a heartbeat.

This is no dead bird, but for the price it is a great soft shell. This was my second one and I only needed it because the zipper broke on the first. The zipper pulls and zipper have been upgraded on the newer version which is great. The one thing I don’t like about the new version is that the cuff straps have the condor logo on them now, and they were plain before. Based on the size chart I could wear a large (and my old one was a large) but I got an XL so that I could layer with a fleece if I wanted to. Usually warm enough on its own though. The small of back pocket is great for gloves and keeps the bulges off your chest.
I did cut off the waist bungee on my jacket because they tend to get caught on things you might be taking from your waistline (knives, lights, guns, cell phones, etc.) and I didn’t want that.
I keep a pen or two in the chest pocket and chapstick and a little sample size bottle of beard oil in the left forearm pocket.
On my old jacket I did have to reapply some waterproofing to the outside after the first two years, but the water did just bead up and fall off, even in a downpour.

Great jacket, I already have the Phantom 606 in Black but I wanted a jacket that had a hood. That's why I chose the summit 602, purchased that one in olive drab. I like these jackets for cool mornings and chili damp days. I usually wear a men's medium jacket but these jackets I purchased size small. If you are thinking about purchasing a condor jacket it may be worth researching YouTube videos for reviews of their jackets.
