5ive Star Gear GI Sleeping Pads have a wide variety of uses. These pads are compatible with all 5ive Star Gear cots, providing a cushioned, comfortable sleeping surface that is resistant to soil and water. When the weather is cold, they use body heat to provide better insulation to keep you warm. Made of polyurethane, these pads can also use their insulating properties to extend the freshness of frozen or chilled items simply by rolling them up inside the pad. The attached tie straps let you roll up the pad securely, making it easy to store and transport. Whatever the purpose, these tough, comfortable pads are great for the outdoors.

Based on the name of the product I was expecting a mil spec. or equivalent pad. The pad I received was significantly thinner than a mil. spec pad I was replacing. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

Is exactly as advertised. Fits perfectly on my ALICE pack frame just like these pads did in old days. Very pleased with this product.

Would have liked it to be a little thicker but it's really lightweight for backpacking. -1 star because the straps are very cheap and you can tell they won't hold up long. Will have to tie it with paracord when they break

This product is pretty huge, but well worth the lugging, its lightweight as well so I have no complaints.
